I have just listened to Stuart's pre Wimbledon presser & non of the injured players that are currently out of the Notts side will be available for selection for the match on Saturday.

So it appears that it will be a similar side that lost to Barrow on Tuesday. I would like to see Tsaroulla & Grant start this match because they did make a difference when they came in against Barrow.

I'm hopeful about Notts's chances as they seem to play better away where they get more room to attack than at Meadow Lane, where the opposition just sit back.

There certainly needs to be an improvement in performance & Notts need to show that they want it, because they didn't for long periods against Barrow. At this stage Notts need to just avoid defeat & prevent Wimbledon from winning at all costs.

It would be disappointing not to pick up our form, but AFC Wimbledon would be a difficult challenge, and even more so away from home. We need to ensure that the squad has sufficient resources to respond to the recent results. Lately, it seems we don't manage games to the best of our ability, and I always feel that if we can take the lead, we should be good enough to maintain it. I do feel we are massively missing the experience and qualities that David McGoldrick brings; he seems to help maintain the management of games that we might otherwise let slip.

It's crucial, with Wimbledon being on the verge of overtaking us in the league table, that we show our early start to the season was earned through hard work.

If it's pressure, missing key players, or a mix of things combining, I don't think we can afford not to go for the win. Mai Traore might be struggling somewhat to settle in, but it would be a good sign to see him help to make things happen. It might be a blessing if Jodi Jones is available for the game, though it might be worth not starting him.

Ho hum, it’s Notts County we are used to disappointment. We were totally outplayed today, I thought Wimbledon were excellent or did we make them look good.

Johnson had a bit of a mare, he didn’t look comfortable at all and I was glad to see him substituted. Having said that no one really stood out, Jatta had no service at all, it said it all for me when the Notts fans started chanting “we’ve had a shot” when a shot went on target.

If we have any aspirations to be promoted we have to do better, be stronger. I really hope Didzy and Jones are back soon and give the team a lift.

It seems a bit of a setback; this current form isn't good at all.

I can put aside my frustration, because it won't help in the long term, but it seems almost like Notts are failing to meet the grade needed to finish in the automatic promotion places. I really don't believe it's because we are not good enough; I wonder if the players have doubts themselves, though. Wimbledon have pulled off a great result, they have good momentum going forward, and I wish it were us. I don't believe it's all doom and gloom, but the players must respond.

Wimbledon, going into the game, had similar form to our own. They still do, to a degree, so there's hope that we can turn around these disappointing performances. A single shot on target is poor, especially with 64% possession.

Something just isn't clicking right now, but the starting lineup looks more than capable of getting a result. Notts needs to start making the possession count, instead of sitting on the ball. Even the bench looks fine to turn things around, but the absence of Mai Traoré seems interesting. We can't afford any further injuries, and again it shows how much we are missing David McGoldrick. McGoldrick and Jodi Jones would be big boosts; Stuart Maynard must try to spot when things are working during games before it is too late. I wonder if fans who attended felt it was like Salford all over again?

We responded well after that, so I hope we can move forward, but it's the wrong time to be losing form.

You could have wrote was going to happen in this game before it happened. The one bright spot was a change of tactics that improved things slightly in the second half. We'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

Wimbledon are a good side; they looked physically a lot stronger than us and had players like Neufville who were really quick out wide. We lost to a good team, but it’s a result that feels worse because of the loss to Barrow in the week.

I’m not so sure I agree about Bass being solely responsible for the goals, the corner was quite deep but Bedeau actually slipped and that meant Lewis was unchallenged. For the second goal, he absolutely smashed it to be fair.

Wimbledon didn’t carve us open it was two moments of poor defending, Bass just had to make a few routine saves, the worry for me was in 90 minutes of football we had no real idea about how to attack them. If our patterns don’t work (which they didn’t) we just look totally clueless. I could’ve played in goal for Wimbledon today and the result would’ve been the same.

Individual performances were poor as well, especially in an attacking sense. Grant and Tsaroulla who did well coming on at Barrow got rewarded with a start but then produced nothing. Whitaker was far too lightweight and Jatta whenever he did get the ball his touch was usually well off.

It’s another loss to a promotion rival, we just can’t seem to edge any of them out away from home. That tells me this team just isn’t ready for League 1.

We've seen the usual twitter meltdown during & after the match had finished, but I don't think that it is helpful.

The team is clearly struggling at the moment & there are many reasons for it.

1.The number of injuries to key players that keeps happening nearly every other match.

2.Selling Dan Crowley who was a massive player for us, to try to recoup some money from his transfer.

3.A poor January transfer window where the squad was actually weakened rather than strengthened.

4.And big was the Saunders brothers leaving followed by Montague. Their leaving has clearly disrupted & affected the Notts squad.

Key will be getting our key players like Jodi & Didzy back. Didzy makes such a big difference to the team. He inspires & leads by example. Notts are so missing him.

We have what we have, but we need to get behind the team.

We still have a very good opportunity of reaching the playoffs, even if the automatics don't look so certain now..
