Goal to Bradford.

Bradford 1 Notts 0.

53' - Bradford take the lead as the ball is headed in by Ciaran Kelly following a free-kick from the right hand side.

Mark Stallard: 'We said the first goal could be absolutely decisive and it's the home team that got it.'

A much better performance from Notts and what a goal from McGoldrick, it remains to be seen whether one point is enough, we’ll see how tomorrows games go.

It was a solid performance and a good game. I was particularly impressed with McDonald. Our secret weapon Baldwin came on too late to really influence the game. A special mention goes to the ref, who is clearly very passionate about the ball being in the quadrant at corner kicks.

With that we've taken four points off Bradford and got a point away at a team who have won 16 out of 22 home games. All the same, our hopes of automatic are looking very tenuous and the teams below us are catching up, and that's because of the last couple of games. Work to do!Β

Let's hear from the Gaffer.

He was disappointed not to get the win at this stage of the season, but he was very pleased with the performance tonight.Β

He mentioned George Abbott, Rod McDonald & David McGoldrick for their performance.

Credit where credit is due, that was a big improvement last night. We probably deserved the 3 points. The only negative was a lack of composure in front of goal. Automatic promotion is unlikely at this stage but you never know in League 2. It's one of the most unpredictable leagues in the world. 4 points should be enough to secure a playoff place.Β

Not going to lie I had pretty low expectations for the match so I was pleasantly surprised at how well we performed in the end.

I think a draw was a fair result, neither team was really able to open up the other team’s defence but there was no lack of effort or endeavour from anyone.

I think we looked slightly more assured at the back then them, midfield was solid but the attack just lacked a touch of cutting edge at times. Jatta has looked like a different player these past few games though, he’s seemingly lost all his physicality and balance. Have we just exhausted him or did someone switch places with him when he was on international duty with Gambia?

Need to win at home on Monday now, otherwise that point will have been in vein.
