We have three Notts teams from the North of the County that have made the United Counties Division 1 playoffs. Step 10 of the football pyramid.

They all have an opportunity to be promoted to the United Counties Premier Division, (step 9)

Retford FC, Retford United & Clipstone FC

AFC Mansfield, my local club, has made the United Counties Premier Division ( tier9) playoffs.

They have an opportunity to be promoted to the Northern Premier League First Division Midlands (tier8)

Retford FC and Retford United played each other at the weekend in what was ultimately a meaningless game for both. More than 1000 people turned up, and it's quite possible that the sides will lock horns again in the play-off final in a couple of weeks.

The United Counties League in general has loads of Nottinghamshire teams after they were gradually shunted out of the NCEL. I've also got a soft spot for Eastwood, who seem to be flirting with a return to the NPL.

@DangerousSausage

I know that Eastwood  as does Long Eaton, have a Nottingham postcode. Eastwood CFC made the playoffs along with AFC Mansfield. Eastwood could meet AFC Mansfield in the final if they both win  their semi finals
