Good morning and welcome to a new week. The clouds seem to be deciding whether to let the sun out to play this morning, there are glimpses of sun then it disappears.

I’ll do a bit of gardening this morning my tomato plants are coming along nicely I planted seeds and although a little late they are doing fine, I thinned them out a bit yesterday. I’ll have to keep watering them in this weather.

Have a lovely day everyone.

It's been very nice here with plenty of sunshine since midmorning. It was pleasant enough for a little walk. Also spent some time in the garden weeding & removing dead flowers.

Hoping that the news of the Notts retained list won't be long coming. Hopefully we will get some news by the end of the week.

Good morning I’m back at the dentist this morning I’ve been in almost unbearable pain since yesterday morning with one of my front teeth, the gum is really swollen, I think it’s loose as well, I’ve had hardly any sleep I’d forgot how painful toothache can be. I managed to get an appointment for this morning with the NHS dentist she only works Tuesdays so I was lucky. I think it may have to come out but we’ll see at 9.45.

I hope everyone has a better day.

Well the tooth had to come out, it was infected, the extraction was quite painful in spite of having two injections to freeze it.

I’m just glad the toothache has gone, hopefully I’ll get a better nights sleep.

Morning all and Happy Wednesday, it’s certainly a lot happier for me, I’ve had a good nights sleep and feeling a lot better after having my tooth out yesterday, I’ve lost 4lb as well, I don’t think the tooth weighed that much so it must be the fact that I’ve only had a small portion of scrambled egg since Monday, I’m looking forward to porridge for breakfast.

We had a little rain by the looks of it last night so it’ll be interesting to see if it’s filled up my water butt.

Have a great day everyone.

There was a pool of water on the garden chair this morning. Wasn't expecting some rain last night but it was welcome nevertheless.

It's was a beautiful start to the day again & at the moment I can't see a cloud in the Sky.

The two mating Hawk Moths have gone on their merry way. Apparently mother Hawk Moth will be busy laying her eggs in a safe place.

One of their favourite places to lay eggs are on the leaves of apple treesΒ

I can now understand who some of the culprits are that have been eating some of the the apples on our two trees all these years.

Cloudy & overcast most of the day here. Spent some time in the garden weeding & watering the plants.Β

The lawn hasn't grown at all since the last cut a week ago. I decided against watering it as hopefully we will get some rain at the weekend.

Pleased that Ben Duckett who plays for Nottinghamshire, scored 140 runs for England against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge today.

England scored 498 runs in one day so the crowd got a lot of entertainment today. Bazball is still alive & kicking.

Good morning, it’s a lovely bright start here and forecast to be a dry sunny day so Mrs. T will have a line full of washing out. Our young neighbours in the last house we lived in had a tumble dryer in their garage and it always amused us when on a lovely breezy sunny day we would hear their tumble dryer going in the garage, I don’t think they even had a washing line.Β πŸ™„

In other news we’ve bought one of those Ring Doorbells with a camera, which we are going to install today, I’ve been playing with it a bit and I’m very impressed so far, it’ll be good to see whose at the door and talk to them through the camera, especially salesmen and religious people. It’ll also pick up any would be trespassers who are up to no good and record footage for evidence.

Last of the fine weather today before we get the predicted rain early on Saturday morning. I won't be sorry, I'll welcome it. The garden needs it.

Still digesting the sacking of Stuart Maynard & mulling over who may replace him. Notts just need to ensure that they replace Stuart with someone who has loads of league 2 experience & has a successful record too.

It's going to be an exciting few weeks but the owners need to get it right.

Morning all, the overnight rain has cleared and it’s bright and breezy at the moment.

The Ring doorbell we bought the other day for Β£99 has now been reduced to Β£49, so we’ve bought another and we’re sending the original back for a refund thus saving Β£40.Β

It’s a shame the weather has changed this weekend our son and family are camping but they’re making the most of it yesterday they all went paddle boarding on a lake, the kids took to it well but mum and dad went in the water a few times.Β

Have a great day everyone.

Well we had a good amount of rain on Saturday morning here. It was very welcome indeed for Gardner's like myself.

It's a nice pleasant morning today but a little windy. Mrs has put the washing out to dry.

Time for a little walk I think. Get that heart pumping a little.Β
