Which Clubs will finish in the top 10 in League 2 for 25/26?

The summer transfer window is in full swing & hopes are high among the 24 teams in League 2 that they might either get promotion or a place in the playoffs.

The three teams that missed out, Walsall, Notts & Chesterfield will have hopes of going one better this season, & the four teams relegated from League 1, Crawley, Shrewsbury, Bristol Rovers & Cambridge will be looking for a quick return.

So who will finish in the top 10 next season, who will be Champions, which two teams will be promoted with them, & who will make the playoffs?

My top 10.

1: Bristol Rovers

2: MK Dons

3: Walsall

4: Shrewsbury

5: Colchester

6: Notts County

7: Chesterfield

8: Salford

9: Cambridge

10:Crawley

I think the teams that were relegated from League 1 will feature strongly at the top of league 2 next season, with Bristol Rovers winning the league & Shrewsbury going strong too.

I expect MK Dons will be strong & get the 2nd promotion spot & Walsall to do one better & get automatic promotion too

I have picked Notts to make the playoffs, but I think it is going to be very close for those four playoff spots with up to 10 further clubs thinking they can achieve a playoff position.

I expect Shrewsbury, Colchester & Chesterfield to join Notts in the playoffs, but it could easily result in four different clubs qualifying because the League will just be as close as this season gone.

Fleetwood could possibly finish higher If they sign Jamie Vardy!

Maybe we should sign him, sometimes these old boys do the job, like McGoldrick last season.

Vardy would have to take quite the pay cut if wanted to come here, he was on Β£140k per week at Leicester, even if he took a 90% pay cut that would still equate to wages of Β£14k a week!

Again it’s hard to say, I thought MK would do really well last season because on paper it looked they had signed some really good players. They've spent a lot of money again but something wasn’t quite right there and might still not be, I think Crowley only managed 2 assists and 0 goals after he left which tells a story of it’s own. New manager and a pre-season to work with them, should be top 10 this season.

I think from the relegated teams Bristol and Cambridge would by my tips to finish top 10. And then you have the mid-table teams who could potentially move up if they can strengthen, teams like Cheltenham, Barrow and Swindon. Barnet who got promoted could have a good season, I wouldn't be surprised if they snuck into the top 10. I think Chesterfield are an easy bet to finish top 10, they'll finish in the play-offs again at least.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Walsall fall down the table considering how shocking their form was since February, Grimsby too I wasn't overly impressed with them. Even Salford look set to lose some of their better players and might struggle if they can't replace them.

I’ve no idea who the top ten will be, I’m sure they’ll be some surprises, I hope Notts are in the automatic promotion spots, I reckon Chesterfield definitely will be.

Can’t wait for it to get started now, it’s boring on Saturdays.
