Where are they now : Sam Stubbs

I think he got badly hurt. I don’t remember seeing him play for Notts, but people say his dad was really good. I hope he does well at Shrewsbury Town.

I think he had a pretty solid season (apart from Jatta knocking him off the ball to then score!) and Shrewsbury have now signed Will Boyle who was at Wrexham (and previously Cheltenham too) so that's a very decent CB pairing right there.

Cheltenham could well be signing our ex-player Robbie Cundy as a replacement, a bit of down grade in my opinion, I think Cundy is a tad limited and more suited to a team where the style is head and kick it anywhere will do...

That’s really serious. A fractured skull could’ve ended his whole career, especially as a defender who has to head the ball and go into tough challenges. It’s great he’s still playing. That shows a lot of strength and bravery.

If he keeps going like this, he might be a really good player for Shrewsbury Town.

Bantams defender ready to get ahead again after fractured...

BRADFORD City centre half Sam Stubbs is back with a clean bill of health after recovering from the fractured skull that ended his season early.

It's a good move for Sam & I wish him well at Shrewsbury. It's important in League 2 to have a good defensive pairing with Will Boyle beside him.

I was disappointed for Robbie Cundy because I don't think that he got the opportunity to really show what he could do at Notts.

I think it was another case of the Head Coach not rating him & giving him a fair opportunity. I think with the new organisational changes at Notts, re, the new Technical Board, every single player in the squad will get a fair opportunity to impress.
