I feel a bit guilty admitting this, but I’d never heard of Connie Francis or her song ‘Pretty Little Baby’. I looked her up quickly, and the tune doesn’t ring a bell for me.

Still, it’s always sad when someone passes away. From what I’ve read, she went through some tough times during her career and had a very hard life overall.

Rest in peace, Connie Francis.

Connie’s father came across as quite unpredictable, but he clearly wanted the best for her and worked hard to help her succeed. His methods might have been intense, but his drive to see her reach the top was strong.

I’ve not listened to her music myself, but I’ve got relatives who enjoy playing old records, and her name has come up before. She had a lot of talent and made a big mark in her time.
