Following on from my question of yesterday, asking would the World Be Better Off Without The Human Race? Here's another one for you .

With all the advancements in Technology , Do You Think Humans Will Ever Colonize Another Planet?

The Moon would probably be the first place, but could we Humans Go Further, beyond even our own Universe?

Will we ever be able to build Starships, could we turn Star Trek from Sci Fi into reality?

Technology is advancing at an extraordinary rate especially in AI & Robotics.

I believe that Humans will colonise other planets, but with the help of AI & Robotics.

At the moment it takes about 3 days to get to the moon. I can envisage a space ship controlled by Humanoid Robots going to the moon & building a base there within the next ten to 20 years.

Humanoid Robots will soon be able to build & maintain themselves, so I can see them being sent to the moon in large numbers to prepare a base for humans to go to extract vital minerals from the moon & return them to earth.

It takes about 7 to 10 months to travel to Mars, so I think Humanoid Robots will be used in the same way.

If atomic engines are developed, those traveling times may come down considerably & could enable travel to moons like Titan, Europa & Ganymede that could support life. I still think that travel will be led by Humanoid Robots.

I think that very fast speeds in space could be possible, up to 100K per hour or even more, but I'm not sure Warp propulsion is possible, but of course, you can't rule it out.

if there is any hope it will be in thousands and thousands of years time, we are only just scratching the service of space exploration. travelling fast enough to make it to a new planet, settle down and learn from the lessons of earth is going to take a lot. i dont think by 100 years we will have made much more progress than we have now, all the data that will be obtained will be from robots etc.
