My cousin lived in the Meadows area off Kirkwhite street in the 60s. All that area was demolished by the mid 70s. There have been lots of changes in Nottingham since the 50s by uban redevelopment, the demographics of the City & the industry has changed too. The Coal Mines have gone & there are no longer any lace factories left.
The last trolley bus ran at the end of June 1966. You could call the trolley bus the first green bus.
