@Chris Notts are in second place in the County Championship first Division with an excellent chance of winning the Title if they can put some good results together in the final set of matches.

If they could win the Title it would be good for the City. Josh Tongue along with Ben Duckett play for Notts but they do have England central contracts. Josh did well for England against India this summer. He's one of the only really fast bowlers we have.

A shortened afternoon session due to rain interruptions. Worcestershire have moved on to 158 for 8 at tea.

Tongue & Pennington have taken 3 wickets apiece.

End of a truncated day due to rain interruptions sees Notts end on 48 for 1 in reply to Worcestershire's 182 all out.

An early lunch has been taken due to rain. At Lunch Worcestershire have moved on to 141 for 8. Notts bowlers James & Tongue have taken 4 & 2:wickets respectively.

The rain has stopped and the afternoon session began on time.

Worcestershire are 160 all out which means Notts need 136 runs for a vital win.

James took 5 wickets & Tongue 4.

Rain has affected the final session with Notts finishing the day on 40 for 1 needing 96 runs to win on the final day.

Weather permitting, Notts will resume this morning on the fourth and final day needing a further 96 runs to beat Worcestershire with 9 wickets remaining in their 2nd innings.

A tough morning session for Notts. They lose 5 wickets in the morning session & at lunch they are on 91 for 6 with 45 still required.
