First day of spring

Recommended Posts

Today was the first day of spring but to me seemed more like the first day of autumn and the forecast is for the weather to turn  colder Yes I know we've had quite mild weather over the last week or so but there doesn't seem to be any real pattern to the seasons any more. The old sayings like,February filldyke and March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers, don't apply any more as it appears to be wet and windy all the time. Is it just me?

It was getting warmer, but its getting abit colder again. The rain showers are on their way back, but we never get away from that for long anyway. Its still sunny so thats an improvement, just takes a little longer to shine through the clouds early morning.

It was quite nice over here, no complaints.

The UK will get warmer.

I imagine you experience greater  temperature extremes than we do @JC99.We tend to think of it as cold even though it's above freezing.
