Dickie Bird RIP

The Colin Slater of Cricket! Such a sad passing, but he's had a very good innings, which he should be happy with. Rest in Peace, Dickie.

His passing is a big loss for the World of Cricket. One of the great Characters, he will be sadly missed. RIP Dickie Bird.

I am not all the clued up with cricket, but even I know who Dickie Bird is. I hope he rests in peace.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

@super_ram used to watch a lot of cricket when I was younger, and I make no denial that I found it incredibly boring. However, I did think Dickie Bird made a lot of sense and was one of the few interesting points. A very good umpire who never once seemed to show any bias.

Rest in Peace, Dickie Bird.

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

I thought he did commentary work? Though reading his obituary there is no mentioning of this.

Rest in Peace, Dickie Bird.

One Quote I read regarding Dickies Passing. An England Legend, without ever scoring a Run for his Country. R.I.P. Harold "Dickie" Bird.

You made it to 92, such a Shame you didn't make it a Century.
