Hi @gtownjohnno I played for my school at under 14/15 level, and played occasionally for my work team for a while over 40 years ago. I used to play as an all rounder bowling seam up & batting number 5. I did bat as high as 4 on occasions.

I haven't been a Notts member in recent years but I started out as a junior member for Notts when I was 14 through the school & carried on being a member into my thirties.

I think it's important to include Nottinghamshire on here because lots of visitors will read the posts & there are two of us who are interested, so posting is worthwhile.

Congratulations to Nottinghamshire CCC, a really amazing achievement given Surrey’s monopoly over recent seasons.
