A dissapointing ending to the match when Notts conceded the match in injury time after conceding a penalty.

Notts deserved to win the game with the chances they created, & can count themselves unlucky to come away with no points.

So who is your PON Man of the Match for Notts today? I have selected the first eleven & two substitutes for you to pick a winner.

Those players are,

Roos, Bedeau, McDonald, Macari, Tsaroula, Palmer, Robertson, Jones, Hall, Iorpenda, Jatta, Luker, Dennis.

for the most part i felt it would be matt palmer or scott robertson, but i think jodi grew into the game and showed signs of what he can produce. some very clever forward passes, and overlapping runs. he gets my vote, but nick tsaroulla deserves a shout out too.

I thought we had a number of good performances despite the loss. The back three were solid, Palmer and Robbo dominated the midfielder, Tsaroulla and Jones threatened out wide and Hall showed some really good moments of quality. It's tough and close but I think for being so threatening down the left I'll vote for Jodi.

I think we've had a few games recently @Robbie, where the MoM has been pretty clear - this time, Jodi Jones - maybe for the first time this season? He ran them ragged on the left, such a pity we didn't have better finishers in the box.

Apart from JJ, I though Palmer had yet another 7/10 and I thought all of the back 3 played quite well.

We're getting good WB performances now, but maybe it's because we were spoilt by Didzy and Crowley, I think we keep getting indifferent No.10 play (apart from Hall and Luker coming on v Crawley). It's any 2 from 5 at the moment Dennis, Iorpenda, Grant, Hall and Luker. Next week I'd like to see Dennis and Luker...we need someone to grab one of those shirts and make it theirs.

@theAnticlough I agree Jones had his best match of the season. We had some quality finishes against Crawley & we just lacked that today. That's what Langstaff & Didzy gave us & we could have done with that today.

I believe if we had a Crowley, Didzy or a Rodriguez type player that could give quality to the number 10 role consistently, I think Notts would be in a very good place.

That's the 10 game mark. Iorpenda has played every game and he's 0 goals from 10 with not much sign of registering, despite having a prime shirt for most of those. I think he has to stand aside now.

It's seems to me @theAnticlough that Martin has put Iorpenda in the number 10 role because Palmer & Robertson are the best duo in the centre of Midfield. I don't know about you but I think he should try Luker starting in the AM role rather than Iorpenda.

Yeah, I'm with you on that @Robbie Luker looks to have more goals and assists production in him and if you don't get goals and assists from those attacking positions your promotion challenge has a ball and chain around it.

I think that Jodi Jones had his best performance of the season & was a constant threat to Crewe especially in the 2nd half & he thoroughly deserved my vote as Man of the Match for Notts.

Didn't think anyone was outstanding yesterday. However, there were a few honourable mentions. Jodi was a threat, McDonald give us stability at the back and Tsaroulla for his goal and the spirit and determination he shows. Also Palmer the go-to anchor man and Macari for his defensive work and overlaps. On balance I go for Tsaroulla.

@McPie, Robertson played well too, amongst all the scraps he had directed towards himself, he held his own and stayed in the game as we needed. we could have easily seen him or jodi walk due to the frustrations but they applied it to their performance.

For me, Scott Robertson, Jodi Jones, Nick Tsaroulla and Matt Palmer were the standouts. Though I found it very easy to vote for Jodi because I think he injected so much into the game, some very advanced forward passes, good movement and focused on going forward. He really did seem more like his old self, which is encouraging. I don't think anyone was 'bad', but those four were the best for me.

I voted for Jodi. He stood out for me this time.

Tyrese Hall was a close second. It was great to see him play with more confidence. He took on the Crewe players well and showed a level of maturity we’ve not seen much from him since he joined on loan. It finally looks like he’s settling in.

I think the captain did a really good job. He played well and worked hard all game. That’s why I voted for Matt Palmer.

I voted for Matt Palmer because I thought he did well at the back. He helped Notts play more passing football and kept things calm when it got busy. He also joined in with the attack, and it was great to see him have a go at goal with a good shot that tested the Crewe keeper.

I think there are five or six strong contenders, and a few of them really stood out by giving their best to the team.

I’m surprised Tyrese Hall hasn’t had more votes. He looked the most dangerous going forward and helped set up Nick Tsaroulla’s goal. It was his effort that ended up with Tom Iorpenda.

Hall was very impressive and I’m backing him for the performance he gave.

Had one of the many chances Notts had gone in, I think the performance would have a fairer reflection as I think Notts did play well. I left disappointed we had lost, but more based on the circumstances rather than the way we played. Our midfield played very well, I think defensively Rod McDonald was good but Lewis Macari and Jacob Bedeau do need to step up.

Tyrese Hall gets my vote, as I liked his attacking mentality and how he was intimidated by Crewe's defence.

It's a shame one of the chances he had didn't go in, it might have put the focus on what was one of his best displays for us. He was involved quite a lot, compared to beating Crawley at home where it was mostly Jayden Luker who got him into his scoring chances.

Great to see Jodi playing more like himself, and there was times he looked to be getting hot headed and I feared he would be carded (if not sent off) but he put that frustration into playing. Well done, Jodi. 👏🏻
