A comfortable win for Notts this afternoon against Oldham. Notts possibly should have scored more goals too.

Hall scored again & also had an assist when he supplied Jatta for the Notts 3rd goal. Notts first goal early in the first half was courtesy of an Oldham pen goal.

So who is your PON Man of the Match against Oldham. I have chosen the starting eleven plus one substitute.

Please chose you Man from the following players,

Roos, Macari, McDonald, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Palmer, Robertson, Jones, Iorpenda, Hall, Jatta, Bennetts.

So many strong performers today - Robbo, Bennetts, Jatta + others. But I reckon it comes down to McDonald v Bedeau.

Both were dominant, but I thought RodMac was immaculate on top of that, so he gets my vote, yet again.

For me it is a toss-up between Rod McDonald and Scott Robertson. However in view of the amount of long balls into the box, corners and free kicks we had to contend with, I agree with@theAnticlough Rod McDonald gets my man of the match vote.

I couldn’t make the match but listening to John Thompson on the radio he said Bedeau had a great game, Thommo was a brilliant defender for us so I trust his judgement therefore my vote goes to Bedeau.

There were some great performances today. The defence was solid, the central midfield duo were outstanding,

Oldham were Undefeated in away league matches before today & had only conceded one goal so I think it is credit to Notts's attacking prowess that Notts scored 3 ,goals against a side that had only conceded 6 goals in the league, home & away.

That is why my Man of the Match is between Jatta & Hall today. Hall scored a classy goal as well as other nice touches & an assist for Jatta's goal which was Notts third. Jatta did lots of good work up front & scored a goal & claimed another.

However, I'm going for Hall as M of the M, for his performance & who I think could become a good number 10 for Notts as he continues to improve.

Yeah, I think Hall has the shirt and it's him + one for the No.10 positions now.

I think you could make a case for most of the players that played the majority of that match, I went with McDonald he didn’t really put a foot wrong. Tsaroulla also very good, worked tremendously hard and was a good threat down the right hand side.

The early set of subs second half were actually really good in that they allowed us to press Oldham again, that shouldn’t be underestimated, it totally swung the momentum back our way. Kouhyar came on and had a really intensity about him.

Nick Tsaroulla stood out for me. I thought he played very well and got involved straight away.

There were times when I felt some players were out of position and slow to get back, but Tsaroulla attacked and defended without any problems from what I could see. Lewis Macari seemed to struggle at times, while Jacob Bedeau was better but still had a few shaky moments. Tyrese Hall deserves a mention for his efforts.

Please note: I’ll do my best to help, but some issues may need passing on.

What a performance as a team on Saturday, everyone gave their all against opposition who were supposedto be all conquering away from home, with Tsaroulla topping with an outstanding and improving game. Our defence just get better and better with Mcdonald and Bedeau giving standout performances. As for Hall, he is turning out to be one he'll of a player. To me this bodes towards a positive and progressive future for our superb team. COYP.

There's a fair amount of chat about who will finish top scorer, Dennis or Jatta.

If he plays enough games, might Tyrese Hall beat them both?

The remarkable thing about his goal on Saturday was how long he allowed the ball just to roll. With so much going on in a penalty area, how cool do have to be to decide not to take a touch at all?! In the end he took it first time. All other players would have taken a touch or smashed it earlier, but he spent all that time letting it roll, cooly working out where he was going to place it. So impressive.

Rod McDonald earned my vote, he's been solid and proved it yet again against Oldham who were very hands on. Yet he dealt with them very well, I agree with Lewis Macari, he looks unfit too,

He could very well be up there, I would think Jatta will score the most but then it's down to Matthew Dennis and Tyrese Hall. What I will add, it would be brilliant to see Scott Robertson and Jodi Jones both hitting double figures with goals. If Conor Grant took less touches and had more of a punt with his shooting, I think he would finish more chances.

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

I think it’s interesting to compare the composure Hall showed when scoring his goal and the lack of it when Grant hit his shot straight at the goalkeeper with all the time in the world. It highlights a difference in class. I’ve noticed a few times when Tyrese receives the ball at pace his ability to control it and move is incredible.

i thought tyrese hall was class, he was my man of the match. i think we should have kept him on but the changes martin paterson made did inject what was starting to lack. i just thought hall looked like he owed the role hes now playing for us.

The poll has now closed. Thanks to the 61 members who voted. It was a very competitive poll due to quite a few good performances against Oldham.

I am absolutely delighted that for his outstanding performance, Rod McDonald has been voted the Pride of Nottingham's Man of the Match against Oldham. Well done Rod.
