Notts play Cambridge United at Meadow Lane on Saturday 25th October at 15:00 pm.
Let's have your thoughts on the fixture. Can Notts keep their unbeaten run going?
What team should Martin Paterson select & what will the final score be?

Notts have had a poor recent record against Cambridge. They have failed to win in their last nine league meetings against United. Notts last league win came on 27th Nov 2004 at ML when they beat Cambridge 2:1.

Both teams come into this fixture in good form, so it should be a competitive encounter on Saturday. Cambridge are a possession based team that is flexible with it's attacking style. They employ a high press & are not afraid to go direct when necessary.

Notts will have to be on their guard once again against Cambridge's high press when building from the back. I'm sure we will see Cambridge employ similar tactics to other away sides at ML, but of late Notts have been better at countering those tactics.

I think Martin Paterson will choose a similar side with the emphasis of being consistent, by playing the same starting eleven as we saw against Swindon, with the exception of Iorpenda coming in for Grant.

Notts will be keen to reverse the recent poor record against their opponents, & if they play at their best, I think they can get the win. Notts just need to be alert to prevent & deal with crosses when they come in, & when playing out from the back at all times. My score 3:1 Notts.

What would your starting line-up be? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

Another tough test - but a victory would be a morale and confidence booster. We do seem to be making progress and if our play off, or better, aspirations are to be realised then we need to be winning at home as often as possible.

Following on from a good point at Swindon, you have to fancy us to come out on top on Sat. COYP.

Cambridge have only won 1 of their 6 matches away from home this season, they've drawn 2 and lost 3. I think that should give us more confidence going into this one, not that we are short on it at the moment.

I think again we could see a change or two in the starting line-up and I don't think we'd be any weaker for it. Since Jatta returned our bench has been really strong most matches, it's a challenge just to get into the match-day squad right now for the players.

We've definitely looked more comfortable at home recently, and we seem to be starting matches with more intent as we usually look like the team that wants to score first more often than not. I'm hoping this continues come Saturday.
