A comfortable win for Notts in the end with two 2nd half goals from Alassana Jatta.

I have chosen the starting eleven & 2 substitutes for you to pick your favourite for the PON Man of the Match.

Those players are.

Roos, Macari, McDonald, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Palmer, Robertson, Jones, Grant, Hall, Jatta, Ness, Iorpenda

Another easy one I think...although it was a poor game overall, Jatta's might be the best individual performance of the season so far.

His general play and battling was really good. He was our best defender for all the set pieces we defended. And then he won the game with a couple of Jatta specials that not too many others could've scored.

I think that Jatta's performance was outstanding on Saturday..He was very influential all over the pitch. For me, him being on the pitch made all the difference. So my vote for M of the M goes to Alassana.

Jatta is the obvious choice, but special mention to MP who completely changed the game and also the tanoy for the "stewards, exercise" announcement which seemingly dumbfounded everyone in the stadium allowing us to score!

I’ve gone for Jatta but 2 minutes before he scored the first there were at least a couple of others in the frame.

Ness was superb, won his challenges, dominated in the air and looked solid. Robertson was also superb, effectively disrupts the opposition but acts as an attacking catalyst too. He linked well with Grant, particularly in the 1st half.

Overall, we had to battle and scrap - and persevered without ever looking vulnerable at the back. Gritty & determined performance - Paterson has instilled some real steel and discipline/concentration into the ranks.

Jatta offensive and defensive, Palmer a close 2nd, Ness 3rd

If you learn something from every game, there shall come a point in time, when you should never lose... Jimmy Sirrel
