Harrison Iwunze & Theo Robinson have joined Kettering Town on loan. Good luck to them both.

Ideally, we would be getting youngsters involved in first team football earlier, but I suppose that relies on interest and people actively trying to network our young talent.

It's a good move for both; any exposure early on is an insight.

I hope they come back and are able to see what their careers might hold, even if it does end up away from us.

A field where dreams become reality.

I've noticed Jack Hinchy hasn't started for Alty for maybe 2 months now, from the team to a sub to an unused sub to not in the squad at all. We have players in the same boat with us.

When loans don't work out it's really bad for all three parties. Must be hard for the players, a real test of belief and resiliency.

Thanks for this info about Jack Hinchy's situation @theAnticlough . I think Notts should be looking to bring him back, but I suppose he couldn't be included in the squad because Notts have already named their squad. For me, he's as good as it not better than Norburn in the central midfield role.

Jack has made 25 appearances for Notts in a season where Notts made the playoffs. Sitting on a bench or not even making the bench for Altrincham is not a good look.

Yeah, the loan was the right idea, just hasn't worked out. Hinchy is quite a cultured player and we know how frantic the NL can be. A club has to have patience with a player like that because when he finds his feet he'll add control to your play. Obviously, Alty didn't have patience but Hinchy is more likely to be an EFL player than whoever they're playing ahead of him.

Merit might be in favour of JH coming back and taking Norburn's spot on the bench, but in terms of contracts or politically it might not be something MP wants to do. We might be getting into the reasons RobGag left there

I didn't realise Kettering were a National League North team, that's a really good level to go for a first loan really. I hope they can both force their way into the starting line up and do well.
