A smash & grab plus a character building win for a ten man Notts today against a spirited Rovers side that hit the woodwork three times.

So who's your PON Man of the Match for Notts today?

The players I have chosen for you to make your choice are as follows.

Roos, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Iorpenda, Robertson, Bennetts, Grant, Jatta, Ness, Dennis, Kouhyar.

I haven't included Hall today.

Well I didn’t see the match but listening to commentary and the post match discussion I’ve given it to Roos, who made a superb save to keep us in the game.

Yeah, I think the main candidates will be the back line and Roos. Shout out for Grant and Bennetts who I thought worked really hard when we did go down to 10. Platt just shades it for me, he came back into the side and didn't really put a foot wrong in the middle of that defence.

I thought Platt & Roos were massive today including the back line & central midfielders plus three substitutes that helped change the game in Notts favour, Dennis, Kouhyar & Ness. The team had to survive for over an hour with 10 men against an inspired Bristol R.

But I am giving credit where credit is due to Kelle Roos who deserves my Man of the Match rating. I hope it inspires him to similar performances during this tough December.

Roos - on the basis he won a MOTM when he did nothing to deserve. Today he did.

Always rate Grant’s industry and subtlety tbh & Platt lasted the pace and did his job. Everyone grafted, but Roos for me.

Man of the match could be one of a few players. Roos made one or two good saves, Robertson was great again in midfield especially without Palmer alongside. For me though Matty Platt gets my vote. Headed everything and put tackles in consistently throughout the match and considering he's been out injured for a while lasted the course well!

It's not always clear who's doing the last ditch defending when you're far away at the other end, but giving MoM to Kelle Roos is a safe bet.

What a way to bounce back from a poor game. I really want him to succeed so it's great to see him fighting for his place and reputation

Roos for me, Platt a very close 2nd. Honourable mentions to Bennetts, Grant, Bedeau, Robbo for the shifts put in

Looks like Roos is winning the vote so far, still time to change though. I hope he wins it he deserves a break after all the negative comments he’s had, hopefully this is a turn around in form.
