A point gained against the league leaders who are very good defensively. The result keeps Notts great December unbeaten run going.

So who is your PON Man of the Match? I have included Jodi Jones along with the starting 11 for for you to make your choice.

Those players are

Roos, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Norburn, Iorpenda, Bennetts, Grant, Dennis, Jatta, Jones.

I'll go for Iorpenda over Platt. Tom is certainly showing the confidence boost from the winning goal he got. It's such a bonus for us that we have a CM who can contribute all over the pitch - a lot more troublesome for our opponents than two CMs that only sit.

Platt is just about back to his best now.

Another that deserves a mention I think is Kouhyar who never lets us down when he comes on. I'd really like to see him given a start to show what he can do.

I'd like to see Kouhyar selected from the start too. I wonder if Martin thinks Bennetts is better defensively?

Bennetts seems to be keeping Jodi on the bench too.

I think that Roos, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Norburn & Iorpenda had excellent games once again. The clean sheet is a testament to how they played. Matt Dennis stood out amongst the forward players.

There were some impressive performances in a very solid team display. We didn’t create enough clear cut chances but we moved the ball well up to the final 3rd and defended as a unit.

Hard to fault Macari or Platt all game, Iorpenda was superb in the opening 25 mins and again in the last 20 too. Grant was our most inventive and creative player again, his subtle touches and ability to link up with Macari & Tsaroulla make him a valuable member of the team. We lose a bit of spark whenever he goes off for my money.

Dennis & Norburn were absolutely outstanding tho’, from virtually start to finish. Dennis worked his nuts off and looked comfortable on the ball - just needed a goal.

Norburn’s best display in a Notts shirt, by a mile. He grafted, cajoled others, directed play and used the ball neatly and effectively. He gets it for me, just, over Dennis, Iorpenda & Macari.

Footnote: Not at all sure why Jones came on - he offers no threat whatsoever now, no pace, unwilling to go past a man and his crosses are from far too deep positions.

Tsaroulla could have moved to the left and Kouhyar on the right, rather than Gordon. I think we lost a bit of fluency with Jones tbh.

I think it's between Norburn and Iorpenda for me too. The back 3 all defended very well and didn't actually have to do much box defending at all, they spent most their time on the half-way line! And Dennis looked the tidiest on the ball in terms of an attacking threat through the middle.

I love the way Iorpenda picks up the ball and looks to drive us forward, and he was up and down the pitch all match. Norburn had his best match and he didn't pick a yellow card either! He was the linch-pin in midfield for us today, won his battles and was great on the ball too so he just shades it for me.

A good all round team performance today. I liked Norburn today good on the half turn and always looking for the forward pass through the lines. We need more of that. When we constantly go down the wings we become a bit predictable and often the crosses are poor quality. I thought Iorpenda was good in all aspects of his game today and he gets my man of the match vote. Although Grant possesses technical ability, he doesn’t offer enough in forward areas. I would be happy to see Kouhyar start in that position.

My man of the match kept changing throughout the game, to be honest it could have gone to any one of a number of players, Iorpenda, Norburn, Grant, and Platt all played well but I though although he didn’t score Dennis was excellent he absolutely run himself into the ground so my vote goes to him.

I watched on my laptop and once again it was a solid performance from all Notts players. A good team effort against well organised and stubborn opposition.I haven't seen many Notts games this season due to my team playing at the same time but there has been a definite improvement recently.Players that I found a bit disappointing earlier in the season are now performing at a much higher level and playing for the team. This makes it very difficult to pick out one single player.I will add that Jodie Jones seems to be very low on confidence at the moment but I'm sure he will sort himself out sooner rather than later.I agree with above comments regarding how many players deserve being voted for but I have chosen Lorpenda.
