Good morning, it’s a dry start so far and fairly mild. I’m a bit bleary eyed this morning after we were both awake in the early hours for no discernible reason and then awake early this morning, so I might need to grab a few zzz’s later.

All our shopping is done thank god for online shopping, our Daughter in Law is buying all the fresh stuff at the supermarket on Christmas Eve, rather her than me. Mrs. T will be baking today and we need to withdraw some cash for the grandkids, apart from that nothing else happening.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good evening all. Nice to see a day without rain. Managed to get out in the garden this afternoon to pick some leaves up, while Mrs R was baking home made mince pies, & biscuits for Xmas.

During the evening we watched one of my favourite movies El Cid on the TV. It was on BBC I Player. You just can't beat the old Epics. They don't make them like that anymore do they.

It’s Christmas Eve Eve, not sure whether that’s a thing or not but it’s a good excuse to open the booze, have a mince pie and celebrate, only two sleeps now, the little kids all over the world will be getting excited, waiting for Santa. I must admit I miss have children around especially at Christmas our grandchildren are grown up now, two are adults and the other two are 17 and 14 so not kids anymore.

Right I’d better have a go at the word games, have a good day everyone.

Good morning, it’s Christmas Eve and we are ready to receive our guests, our son and family will be arriving later on, tonight we’ll have a buffet and no doubt play some games, it should be fun.

Enjoy your day if you can.

Good Morning & it's a crisp Boxing Day morning. Hope everyone had a great Xmas day.

It's Matchday. Looking forward to the big match this afternoon. Can Notts keep the good run going? It will be a tough Test against Chesterfield today, but I'm hopeful Notts can get a positive result.

Good morning everyone, I hope we are all fit and well.

Today we are up early as we are driving to Norfolk to meet up with our son and family for a week in a lovely cosy cottage, we need to get there in time for the Tesco delivery man who is bringing lots of goodies for our extended Christmas break, it should be good fun.

Have a great day folks.

Enjoy that @Fan of Big Tone

A few months ago on this thread I mentioned a particularly grisly tooth extraction. Well it took 4 months for the bone to reform and last week it was the first stage of the implant. It went OK but it was weird having christmas dinner with an exposed metal bolt sticking up from my lower jaw. Still the turkey never tasted so good, but I guess it helps that I never chew anyway ;)

Hasn't stopped raining in Barcelona since arriving on 23rd. Another absolute deluge just now☹️

Good evening everyone. Just a quiet day in with the Mrs after all the festivities.

Spent some time last night listening to the Test match coverage from Australia. England won the fourth Test. The first time they've won in Australia in 15 years.

It's nice to get a win against the old enemy even though England have lost the series. Hopefully England can win the fifth and final Test & send the Barmy Army home much happier.

Good morning we made it safe to Norfolk yesterday in around two and a half hours, we have a lovely large 4 bedroomed house to stay in for the week with the family with everything we need for a comfortable stay.

Mrs. T made one of her famous curries for us all, a chicken Bhuna and in the evening we settled down to play the board game Traitors which we had bought for the whole family for Christmas, it was a real good laugh trying to guess who amongst us was the traitor, it turned out to be grandaughter Chloe which surprised us all. If you like the TV series you’ll love the game, highly recommended.

Today we’ll probably go for a walk along the sea front when everyone is up.
