Good morning, a cold start here in Norfolk, yesterday we went to the RSPB reserve at Titchwell, our son is a member so go in free we used to be members years ago but had to pay £7 each. However it was worth it, we had good views of some stunning birds including a Tawney Owl, Marsh Harrier, Gadwall, Egret, Teal, Barnacle Goose, Canada Goose, Brent Goose.

It was certainly very bracing and I was glad I’d taken my warm coat with a furry hood.

Today we are going to Hunstanton for a walk and let the youngsters play on the arcades with some of their Christmas money.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, it’s New Years Eve, who’s celebrating tonight? We are still in Norfolk our holiday home is in a quiet cul de sac so I’m not expecting it to be busy or noisy. For ourselves we’ll be celebrating with a Tapas night cooked by our son and daughter in law, a few drinks may also be consumed..

Have a good night however you choose to celebrate.

Great to hear you are enjoying family time in Norfolk, the RSPB reserve is a place i would love to go, what a wonderful variety of wild birds you saw. Sounds like a lovely evening awaits and with the odd tipple to boot. Enjoy your time together it is very special.

Happy New Year to all PoN members, let’s hope it’s a great one for our clubs whoever you support but especially Notts. 😂

We had a great night with the family, a delicious tapas feast complete with sangria, watched a film then saw in the New Year with a glass of bubbly. Very quiet here we didn’t hear any fireworks at all.

Embrace 2026.

Another year again sails on by, Quicker than a blink of your eye.

Looking back have no regret, Of failing targets not been met.

Forward thinking into pasturesnew, Planning for the future is good to do.

Attempting things not tried before, Swimming, gym, a spin on the dance floor.

Whatever journey comes your way, Tread the path of courage, and on it stay.

A Kaleidoscope of chance will present, Sculpturing your life to some extent.

Grasp everything you can with open arms, Make life happy without any qualms.

This message is sent with love and a tear, We wish one and all a Happy New Year. Michael and Tracey. COYP.

Wish all fellow PON stars a very happy new year!

There weren't as many private fireworks on our street as usual (to our disappointment, we always enjoy the neighbours' fireworks without spending any money ourselves). But the city centres were manic as usual. There's talk about banning private fireworks as it's been totally out of hand for years, but it would be nice if councils put on an official display rather than doing absolutely nothing.

Usually I'd take a new year's walk, but I've got a busy day of football, darts and Stranger Things coming up!

With names like Big Tone, Super Ram and Dangerous Sausage I do feel there's a lost consonant there
