Good morning, another rain sodden start to the day, the sunny beaches of Lanzarote are a distant memory, sigh.

I hope the roofing chap gets back to me today, our utility roof needs sorting sooner rather than later, drip, drip, drip.

Have a great day whatever you are doing.

Good morning one and all. @Fan of Big Tone at least you have the wonderful memories made of sun, sea and what other 'S' you choose to look back on 🌞😎 The wet weather has been falling in some parts of the UK for 40 days (biblical stories come to mind). I think we have to be grateful that on Saturday the forecast is wall to wall sunshine, happy days. Back to the doctors today as the Chest Infection has not subsided at all, starting to get fed up of it now 😮‍💨 still there are more people far worse off than myself, so chin up and off we go. 👍 Whatever you are up to today, enjoy and make the most of it.

Good morning @Michael D Pie. the only other S I enjoyed was sand, I can’t think of anything else I enjoy beginning with S these days sadly. 😂

Sorry to hear your chest infection is no better, I hope things improve soon.

I’ve decided I need to strengthen my arm and leg muscles as I visited a very low public toilet whilst away and struggled to get up off the seat my legs weren’t strong enough, then by the pool we grabbed a couple of sunbeds, Mrs. T wanted a parasol for a bit of shade but I could open it my arms weren’t strong enough to push it up, a very friendly German chap helped me out how embarrassing.

So on with the exercises.

Good morning from the midshires. I was thinking of Sangria to be honest @Fan of Big Tone as it compliments both sun and sea whilst away in sunny climes. If there is something else please enlighten me as my memory is not as good as it used to be. 🤣 My chest is improving day by day thank you, and I hope to return to normality on Monday the 16th of February. Mrs P has now had her second bout of the dreaded Vertigo, not nice, and is off too, once again pills are doing the trick. 👍 The weather here has taken a change for the better as I can see a little sunshine 🌞 whoops it gone. Milder though than it has been for a while. Hey @Fan of Big Tone did you manage to sort the roof? My Osteopath told me that the exercises for arms and legs can be done at home with resistant bands, increasing resistance as you go, if that helps. I hope everyone has a good day. Live long and Prosper. 😎🖖

Hey @Fan of Big Tone did you manage to sort the roof?

We’ve got a man coming round on Friday to have a look at our roof to see what is wrong, then we’ll probably have to wait for a slot when they can sort it.

Yes thanks we’ve got a resistant band I’m doing some exercises with that too. 👍

Glad to hear your chest is getting better, I hope Mrs. P gets over her vertigo, I’ve had that it’s horrible.

I’ve had a text that I qualify for a lung cancer check because I’m a former smoker, even though I haven’t smoked for 50 years! So I’m going to go along just to be sure I’m ok, they do a CT scan, I think it’s important to have anything they offer, if there is a problem it’s picked up early.

Thank you @Fan of Big Tone for your kind words from me and Mrs P, she is on temporary tablets for the short term but if it persists a long term version is available. Nice one regarding the lung CT Scan, never had a sniff of that, must be new, is it. Good news with the roof man hopefully sorting things out.

Good afternoon, what a horrible soggy day, it hasn’t stopped raining all day here. The good news is though that the roofing man came to fix the roof in the rain and he says it should be ok now, we’ll see. The best thing is he didn’t charge us because he said it was under warranty. Bonus. clapping

@Fan of Big Tone thank you for the link, much appreciated. Looks like you have to wait for the written invitation, apparently you have to wait until it's the turn of your surgery to get one. 🥴👍
