What a crazy game that turned out to be. The game was heading for a 0:0 draw then all hell broke loose in the added time after 90 minutes.

On the second half performance I thought Notts deserved a draw but it was not to be.

So who is your Notts Man of the Match today I have chosen the starting eleven for you to make your choice. Those players are:-

Belshaw, Macari, Ness, Bedeau, Kouhyar, Palmer, Iorpenda, Bennetts, Grant, Dennis Jatta

I'll give my vote to Belshaw. Pretty clear cut I'd say. I feel sorry for him.

Ness and Iorpenda were good, not sure anyone else was (apart from Browne of course, another to feel sorry for).

We needed better from Jatta. Grant was especially poor, but his replacement Hall was even worse! Especially with his absolute uselessness when the ball popped out for their winner.

I'm going for Belshaw too. I think he made some vital saves & I think he deserved a clean sheet today for his efforts. I think he has a vital role to play in these last 5 games of the season.

Bizarre game. We were under the cosh for about 15 mins in the 1st half yet showed a bit of grit and character…… but it all fell apart at the end.

Ness stood out defensively, Bennetts, Grant & Iorpenda had their moments and all put a shift in. Palmer had a mare in the 1st half but was impressive in the 2nd. Hugely disappointed with Dennis, lethargic and clumsy and Jatta, bar 1 pass late on, was utterly anonymous. Out jumped, out muscled and early dispossessed again. Their defence must have been gutted when he went off!

All that was in addition to just about the best goalkeeping display I’ve seen since Steve Cherry v Citeh! Belshaw made 3, possibly 4 truly world class saves and numerous other, spectacular stops. He did not deserve to be on the losing side.

Sadly, Kouhyar, despite his energy and effort, is nowhere near good enough and I can’t find the correctly describe Hall’s lack of effective contribution. He was 100% to blame for the winning goal. Shocking lack of awareness and commitment on the edge of the box.

Thus, there were contenders for r/u but only 1 possible MOTM - Belshaw, that was just something very special from him today. Remarkable goal keeping.

There are a section of fans on X who have giving Tyrese a hard time tonight. I think we have to understand that young players do make mistakes from time to time & Tyrese has done well while at Notts.

He's scored 7 goals for us from midfield, so he's contributed well & I think the lad should be given a break.

With so many injuries, Notts will need all their fit first team players for the last 5 games of the regular season & maybe 3 playoff games. I'm sure Tyrese will have a big part to play in those games.
