Good morning, what a beautiful start to the day. We are back from our long weekend away, we had a lovely time meeting our friends, some we hadn’t seen for many years although we all keep in touch via another forum (non football related).

Back to normality now and in the routine, porridge for breakfast then I need to mow the lawn which is getting a tad untidy. Have a great day whatever you are doing.

What a lovely fresh morning we have served up to us today. Great to hear you enjoyed the weekend away @Fan of Big Tone you can't beat a relaxing weekend with friends. 🍻👌

I was surprised on Saturday evening (after a major amount of skulldugery) with a retirement party at my favourite Indian restaurant, how fortunate am I having such a loving considerate family.

Have a lovely day one and all. 😎🖖

Morning all, another nice day in prospect, I didn’t get to mow the lawn yesterday as our son popped round with a bathroom unit he’s chucking out, it’s too good for the tip so we said we’d have it, the door needed taking off and turning so it opened the other way which was a bit of a faff but we managed it, looks good now and lots of new storage for all our bathroom stuff.

So definitely lawn mowing today otherwise it’ll be up to our knees. I think we’ll pop and get some charcoal too as the weather is improving we can get our bbq out again. The improving weather give you a great feeling doesn’t it?

@Fan of Big Tone it's good to hear you are keeping your nose to the grindstone so to speak 😀 nice one with the bathroom unit recycling, we tend to throw anything away nowadays, even if it could be of use to others.

Bit of a chilly start here in the midshires, the easterly wind doesn't help. Covered Mrs P and myself when putting out the horses hay, came back looking like scarecrows.

Popping out to the garden centre for a few plants and maybe a nice afternoon tea accompanied possibly with a scone or two. 🫖

This year has been very painful for me. I have lost many loved ones and I have not coped well. I needed time away. I have not been to watch Notts as much and that makes it hard to visit a site that talks about the club.

Please do not fuss over me. I would rather this be read without reply. I am not trying to be harsh, but it reminds me of what I have lost and how bad things have been in 2026. Last year was not much better, but at least I had a job and some hope for my future. The site is not the same, I know, and I should try to make more of an effort, but I have found myself wanting to keep to myself.

Things will get better with time. I am sure some people will have noticed that I have not been around. I am fine and doing what I can to get by, but it is hard. If it was not for @liampie and a few close friends, I think things could be worse, so I am grateful for that.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
