Good morning another bright, sunny start but showers forecast for this afternoon.

I’m still suffering with a bad back it’s been a week now, I hope it’s gets better for the match on Saturday otherwise I’ll be listening on the radio in my armchair.

Oh well there’s folk worse off than me. I hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

beautiful flowers in the paddock on this lovely sunny and warm morning. Anyone know what these are please.

@Fan of Big Tone sorry to hear that you are still suffering with the back problems. Have you seen anyone about it? Might need a little manipulation to put things right, don't forget we need our backs for a very long time. 🕺🏌🏋‍♂️️‍♂️🚴‍♂️🤸🤼‍♂️🤽‍♂️🤾‍♂️🤠

The flowers could be common stork’s bill.

I spent a lot of today, sleeping due to feeling unwell and being tired. I think it's todo with an appointment tomorrow, along with a busy weekend. Please wish me luck, not that I think I should need it but just in case it falls on deaf ears and that might intrunition is correct that the point of it is going to be a "U" turn/ hijacking.

Today, I have managed to do some more important updates as I try to make each resource I can more optimised for performance. Unfortunately, I have made some errors with an important application that handles several features and my friend Shahed (I sometimes forget he has two h's in his name) isn't availible, but my thoughts are with him. I hope that I can suss out why I have caused the issues, but I have the older version backed up if not.

Some good improvements which I am excited about, many I have put off from uploading just yet as I wanted to focus on doing a few together rather than one by one.

Good night, or morning! I'll catch up with everyone who shares their daily chat messages, as I do love reading them. Now, I have fixed what I broke... I best get some sleep.

Good morning all, you certainly burn the midnight oil @Chris I hope your appointment goes well today, fingers crossed you get the outcome you want.

54 years ago today I went on a night out with two of my friends to the Palais in Nottingham, one of my friends brought his beautiful sister, it was love at first sight as she walked in wearing a silk blouse, checked mini skirt and knee length boots, we hit it off immediately, I asked her to dance, it was a Rolling Stones record called Get of of my Cloud, she said she liked the Stones and that sealed it, I decided I wanted to spent the rest of my life with this beauty. 3 years later we got married and life has been great ever since. Today we celebrate our meeting Anniversary with a pint in the pub and fish and chips, what more could a girl want. 😂

Thank you @Fan of Big Tone for the above. The flowers adorn the horses paddock and look so beautiful. Congratulations 🎊 I hope you both enjoy the fish and chips. A lovely way to meet back in the day, no wonder you have a bad back 🕺💃🤣

All the best @Chris for your appointment today, stay positive and all will be good. I know how you feel as I have had a telephone appointment this morning regarding my continuous chronic migraine (which I've had for the past two years) and I was apprehensive regarding what are we going to try next of the botox, pills and injections, we chose an oral solution this time, start in a couple of weeks. I would give anything for something that works. Not to worry though, onwards and upwards.

The weather this morning is quite chilly and windy down at the paddock, so quick feed, hay out and poo picked then back home for some brekky and a nice cup of tea. Have a great day everyone 😀

I felt I needed the luck, and I left the meeting feeling even more disappointed. I knew going in, that it was going to unfold how it did and I am glad that I have made other enquiries. I do think that one blessing is meeting someone else face to face who understands the situation and purpose of the whole discussion. I used to feel targeted, but now I think it's unsympatic and poorly trained people.

No grudge will be held on my part, I just want to be unchallenged and respected.

This incident has seen some local media reach out to me, but I am not interested in that. I knew it would be my word vs BS, but thinking I don't have witnesses has revealed one person's "games". I don't find it professional at all.

i have another two weeks away from notts, then i can come back to my normal job and be ready for any openings higher up. it has been very demanding but i have enjoyed the learning side of things. i know most of the role, its just being recognised and having the formal training on my cv. i do like how my work place handles training as they do give you a pathway to other positions if you work hard.

sorry i have not been on all that much i still have issues with my data and the internet is not much better.

coming home at the weekends i just want to catch up with my family and relax. its nice to see my friend @CliftonMagpie had been on in the other weekly chat. i miss seeing him at games.

Once again a beautiful morning, although the breeze still has a chill riding on it.

Good to see you back @liampie and returning to the fold after all the training to improve your chances. You doing this reminded me of some words I read a while back.

"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."

Keep working hard and you will reap your rewards.

As for you @Chris i also have read words that I thought you would like.

"Never mistake knowledge for wisdom. One helps you make a living, the other helps you make a life."

Happy Wednesday everyone, have a lovely day. 🤠

I have a dietry appointment today at my GP, hopefully the progress I am making is good because I am not sure what else I can do in order to curve things. I feel somewhat better in areas, so provided I can avoid becoming diabetic and trim my weight down.

Just waiting for Cheeky to come back from school, and then off I go.

I haven't long been back from my dietry appointment, and I have to say that it has been the best I have had. Previous people have told me to cut x out, eat less and they just don't seem to take things into consideration; it's like a text book at times. The lady I saw today, she was brilliant and has given me some advice which I hadn't considered or even realised would help.

All things to take on board, and because I feel some of my own actions have benefitted me already. It is encouraging, but at least I know what is impacting my liver and more support with being pre-diabetic.

Good morning it’s a lovely bright start to the day again and the forecaster promise that it’s going to be lovely and warm.

My back is definitely improving, I’m loathe to say it because every time I think it’s improving I seem to have a set back but I really do think there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Isn’t grocery shopping getting expensive we had a Tesco delivery yesterday and it cost more than £60 but there were only two baskets of food and one was half empty! It’s a good job our pensions went up this week at this rate I might have to stop cruising. 😂 Ha ha, the plight of the poor old pensioner.

Speaking of cruising our next cruise is a 3 week one and we set off in June for a lovely cruise around the Med taking in, La Coruna in Spain, Vigo, Cagliari in Sardinia, Valletta in Malta, Corfu in Greece, Split in Croatia and Zagreb in Croatia, we are really looking forward to this one, Tilly the cat isn’t though she’ll be locked up in the cattery for 3 weeks, although she does have an outside run.

Have a lovely day whatever you have planned.

Well @Chris it's lovely to hear you are making good progress, sometimes adding your own solutions and working them side by side with your Doctors recommendations sit easy because you know your own body better than anyone and therefore accept what is given as an add on. Good support is a necessity to improve your health.

Great to hear that your back is on the mend @Fan of Big Tone you will definitely need it for a 3 week cruise, sailing the seven seas. 😎🚢

Being a pensioner and now retired I understand where you are coming from regarding the shopping, filling up the car and buying clothes for holidays etc. Prices are getting ridiculous and showing no sign of decreasing in price. Think I might have to go back to work 🤔

What a beautiful sunny morning, slight breeze over the paddock this morning but the coat is off and all is well. Have a great day everyone 😀

Cheeky is on a school trip. She's very actively helping one of the nearest schools and has been assisting them for quite a few years. I think she's done an amazing job helping out, and teaching local children how to read. I am not allowed to pick my youngest daughter up from school, she wants Jake to do it. However, I am being told by Jake I have to do it.

I'm tempted to see if my mum's wheelchair still works, kidnap my dad and get him to come with me. 🤣

I need protection because Ava won't be happy at all.

I want to forward this somewhere that should take notice of it. 🤣
