Morning all, it’s going to be a lovely day with temperatures reaching a possible 24 degrees. ☀️

We are setting off for our short break in a lodge, we’ll stop off at Lincoln to have a mooch round and maybe grab a bit of lunch before getting to the lodge which is in the grounds of a spa resort. The pictures look great so we are looking forward to it.

Have a great time @Fan of Big Tone , a quiet week here, household chores, lollipopping, starting to amass the 7 grandkids Christmas presents and monthly hair cut tonight. Later in the week will need to confirm with mates travel plans for Reading on Saturday

There isn’t much happening for me.

Jake has returned to uni; it's his final year before graduation. I need to speak with Super at some point today, and I hope to find time to prepare some meals for him. Kate's nana gave us a lot of cooking apples, so they will be turned into apple pies or crumbles. One other thing I aim to look into is making some homemade curries for him, as he does like them and I think they'd help keep him warm.

@nottsnutter get stuck into them chores, and the nightmare of buying grandchildren presents for the dreaded day. That's funny as it's also the lowering of the ears ceremony for me too, ready for Lanzarote Thursday. Enjoy Reading on Saturday. 🥳

They have started the process of preparing the ground for all the infrastructure to be put in. The noise is rather loudish and getting on ones wick already. Happy Days ahead me thinks 🤔

eSports, but it's more like event management and streaming. Some of his friends were involved in the World Cup in America, doing overlays for the live games, and some have been doing snooker events. I will, he will act surprised, but I think he knows just how much everyone cares. Some friends this past Saturday asked about him and how he was doing. He might not realise what he means to our community, but it never surprises me how much people express care.

Jake has also recently passed his theory test and will be moving towards his driving test, thanks to Jim at @Drivingmenotts.

So, I'll be driving Jake nuts and encouraging Super to come with us on day trips here and there. As for apple pies and crumbles, they are our favourite too. I used to have them plain, but now I have custard and, on rare occasions, cream or ice cream.

On our way, arrived at EMA and parked. Now checked in and made our way to the Escape Lounge, settled and having lunch. Belly full (lovely veg madras and rice) waiting for instructions to board. Happy days 🤠🍻

I went to see Super yesterday; I don't want to go into too many details publicly, but I passed on everyone’s wishes. In fact, I have just come off the phone to him, but I am getting ahead of myself. It was nice to see him, though he doesn't half like to give us a scare, and I had to remind him that Mum would whack him with her sticks if he didn’t listen. 😂

The naughty boy hasn't been taking his meds for almost a week, and as I was leaving with Jake he unfortunately added to the concern.

He's fine; we just need to keep encouraging him to eat, drink plenty, and take his meds. We stayed longer to make sure he was okay, as there was more than just a slight concern, but he turned out to be okay. I cooked him one of Kate's pasta bakes, got him a drink of dandelion and burdock, plus water with some fruity Vimto so he had plenty.

Once home, I had another good chat with Super for over an hour. He keeps telling me not to keep fussing, but it's not that. It's care and love, something he deserves more of from some.

Well there’s a story behind that @Michael D Pie. , I ordered mushy peas but they didn’t appear with the meal so I enquired about them and they said I hadn’t ordered them, I insisted that I did so they went to check and came back full of apologies and said I was right I had ordered them. When I took the picture they had gone to check, rest assured they did come on little dishes. Fish and chips aren’t right without mushy peas.

GrannyPie wouldn't be happy, so that's why he deserves the sticks, but is also of the care. The second pasta bake Cheeky made for him was eaten today, so we're going to crack on with the apple pies/crumbes. I also plan to make him some curries, as he does like them and it might get @super_pie try too. I should add he behaved himself nicely today, and has started a countdown to his jolly holiday.

Good morning, well all good things come to an end, we are travelling home today from our short break because I have an appointment about my eyes, I’m hoping they sort out a date for the operation to fix them so that they aren’t constantly watering and giving me eye strain.

Morning all from our island in the sun 🌞 we arrived last evening to a beautiful hotel and were shown to our pad for the duration. What a lovely welcome, a bottle and two glasses 🥂

Safe journey home @Fan of Big Tone drive carefully. I hope you get those mince pies sorted, sooner rather than later.

As for @super_ram you take medication for a reason, so don't deny yourself dear boy.

We are south of Arrecife, just below Puerto del Carmen at a small place called Puerto Calero. The hotel is called Costa Calero. Very nice place for families, young people, and the older generation. A beautiful Marina sits to the south of us, where dad Moors his Yatch.
