Yesterday myself and @Joe Jones was privileged to be able to interview several key figures who featured or was involved with the Notts vs Forest legends game.

This is what Jason Lee had to say.

It's good to see players like Jason Lee speaking so openly to fans and supporting charity, well done to all involved!

Is he still working in our academy?

I don't believe so, I haven't seen him when I have attended. He didn't mention it yesterday either, he mentioned he was doing media.

What @Dan said, I agree! Can we do this now?

He was past his prime when he came to us but he scored some vital goals, his ability was there but his body could not cope all the time. Still he was a good player to have around at a time where Notts needed players who tried.

I have to admit it was a bit of a terrifying interview - compare this, which was my very first attempt at interviewing someone in front of a camera, to the Mark Stallard one, which I did after having conducted a few more interviews with assorted people involved on the day, and you'll notice the difference. Not to mention Jason was a good foot taller than me, sported a beard that can only be described as Spartan, and had a glare to put Roy Keane to shame. He was good though, gave me some pointers afterwards relating to journalism/reporting work which I took on board.

I thought you did well, it must be really hard thing to do, it's not something I could do so well done.

Good to see Jason again, I enjoyed watching him play I thought he did quite well for us despite being past his best.
