For me its Emmerdale and Corrie.

Don't like EastEnders.

Used to like Crossroads (the original version).

I've watched them all apart from the yanks.

Shortland Street was pretty good before it got the 'american angle', the same thing can be said for Home & Away and Neighbours (both I used to love) Hollyoaks once upon a time but not since they glamorised it too much. Emmerdale's gone down hill, same with Corrie but despite Eastenders being dull and boring, I can still watch and every now or then I laugh so hard I cry (even when they don't intend it)

Agree with you, sadlad, but only liked Crossroads as a comedy. The wobbly sets and actors getting the script wrong, especially Amy Turtle were hilarious. Can't stand Eastenders.

The only soap I like is Coro (don't like calling it Corrie!). The story lines are so predictable but I still have to watch it.

I can remember Crossroads and used to watch that too. Remember when Carlos the Chef died and came back as his twin brother? :D

The Tyrone storyline is frustrating, I watched it a week or so ago and it was just extremely poor in my opinion. I don't like them filling the street with more and more young people or silly families. The older cast members offer so much more!

Same with the Alfie and Kat storyline but it was amusing to watch Alfie become Mr Hardman.
