Sol Campbell cosidering newcastle?

I've read a few reports today that have mentioned Sol's willing to take a major pay cut to move to newcastle. Now I personally think he's holding out for the wrong reason, as in my opinion he's only hanging around for a premiership offer and that seems to include any team that may go up. Nothing wrong with that, but he's pretty much past an international place and the only chance he has is for "experienced" though as a brit I think england need more youngsters to get a chance and there's really better call such as upson.

When the world cup comes he'd probably need a zimmer frame because he's already pretty slow.

I wish him luck with whoever he choices, personally I don't want him at meadow lane. I think he should consider a team like Hull City or another team maybe wolves who his experience could hold key to establishing them within a safety position.

What's your thoughts?

11 games for Arsenal

7 Newcastle United.

He hardly rekindled his career! I recall watching match of the day and feeling sorry for him because he couldn't keep up with the games, which lead to him making poor decisions. I'm not surprised he isn't coaching, wonder how long it will take him to find a club to take on his ambition of management. Guess you guys feel lucky he stopped the munto scam?

In his prime, no question about it. I think Steve has a point, he was woeful when he returned to Arsenal the second time and although it would of been nice to see him be a success for the gunners, he was just passed it.
