It's starting to be a little harder to choose the 'Member of the Month', as we've got a very nice little community. Everyone plays a vital role, I realize I go on about this but I hope it's seen for the right reasons. I struggled at first, I wasn't sure who to give it to and then I encountered some personal problems ending up forgetting to set the nominated member.

Myself and Cheeky greatly appreciate the support of all the members, so praising one member seems awkward for us both.

We've decided that a consistent member deserves the praise, so we have awarded @2piesonmyshirt March's Member of the Month.

Dave's contributions have seen him nominated and considered the past 2 months, narrowly pipped both times. This Month we've noticed he's been the ideal candidate with his regular posting of topics, friendliness and interacting with others. Along side at least 4 other members, however I read everything posted (very nosey says Kate) so I realize the efforts of many. It's nice to praise members in this way, 2pies does a great job.

Please take time to congratulate him,.As a community it is nice to see members acknowledging each other and this is something I am very proud of all our members for doing.

Thank you!

Wow I feel really honoured.

I will look after the baton and hand it on at the end of the month Tony..

There wouldn't be a member of the month without Joe's tireless work in running this site, along with the help of Kate and other mods. I know Joe spends a lot of time promoting the site, handing out flyers at games etc. (Helped him with handing some out in the KOP). It's a worthwhile Joe, keep up the good work. Word is getting around and the membership is growing.

But it doesn't end there. Everyone has a hand in this. Without the members there would be nothing to respond to. All the members are making this site a success, through their input and creating discussion in a friendly atmosphere. I enjoying popping in and reading it all. Take a pat on the back everyone.

Looking forward to another good month of reading and discussion.

Dave

Congrats 2pies on the award!

You deserved the baton this month, we just have a hard choice of next months member of the month too.

You've helped by posting topics and replying to different sections, and as you said... handing out flyers too.

Great work to everyone thats contributed to the site since it opened.

I didn't get to speak to him at the Doncaster game but he was there. His son, also a member (now we have 3 father and son(s) on) spoke to me as I were handing out flyers. I'm not sure, think his job keeps him busy. @2piesonmyshirt Where are ya?

Perhaps the pressure of being member of the month was too much for him.

Seriously I hope 2pies is ok and we see him back on here soon.

Thanks Liam, you've been in the running quite a few times. I appreciate the efforts you make, along with everyone else and if we're to move forward we need people to post and contribute. I don't really care if people lose interest, as-long as they come back.

We do have other forum sections for other football clubs/leagues but it could be something to look into.

It's a pity there's no World Cup, Euro Championship  or Olympics to keep us interested during the next 3 months. Of course there is cricket but I don't think Joe would be too happy with that.
