It was taken in 1957 when sheep were allowed to graze the pitch to keep it in trim. Then they decided to employ a groundsman.

Anyone else have a good caption?

I could respond by saying it makes a change  as usually it's donkeys on the pitch at Meadow Lane but really that applies just over the river.

I'll forgive your little joke,  just this once,  as it is funny but don't do it again you naughty man or I'll set Rammy on you.:thumbsup::super:

rollonfloorlaughing.gifrollonfloorlaughing.gifNo offence mate, I've got a soft spot for the Rams, especially when they play Rushcliffe Rovers and win.

I know you were only joking, Tony, . and I can take it. Years of working and living in Nottingham have helped me develop a thick skin. The funny thing is I have never had any unpleasant jibes from Notts fans (plenty of good humoured and funny comments from my father-in law and my old boss ) It's just that other lot

I know that a lot of site members have a soft spot for The Rams, as I have for Notts. :) .

Take a look at your marriage points post  now please. :flowers:

"Only time Derbies kept so many players on the pitch at one single point"

Funny picture!

I actually found it very funny, Tony, and I know it wasn't meant in a nasty way, so nothing to forgive. In fact I really look forward to your humorous posts even when they are aimed at me.By the way we went on the quiz machine last night but (Fawlty Towers-Don't mention the war) I'll change the subject now before anyone notices. :hyper::thumbsup::super::sheep::pirate:
