English FA

The FA spent a very large sum of money building the new Wembley stadium so it can be the home of football.

2 weeks before what could have been a vital home match for England, they turn the pitch over to American football and rugby.

Is the turf improved by being ploughed up before a football match?

It's all about the money..................

When I went to the Ladies F.A Cup final, one of the site managers of Wembley got speaking to me (he was asking about why I had been videoing people - out of curiosity).

He told me about how the stadium is maximised to make a profit, yet certain events don't even come par to be being warranted to be played on this stage (including music concerts). He didn't specify what events, yet it makes me wonder why the England U21s etc all tend to play at the Ipro Stadium (Pride Park) and not as frequently at Wembley - I haven't noticed or read about one myself, I assume they do at times.

I can't say I am bothered personally, yet it should be a football venue first and foremost.
