I know it's early only 14 games in and but are the teams in the play offs any better then us on our day Plymouth seem to think they've won the league already stags think there play offs contenders.

I Rember this time last year we was 2nd at one point flying thinking of the play offs til our luck ran out.

Seems the teams up the top are getting abit carried away already hopefully we are starting to pick up now and show what we are capable of.

As its surely got to be a matter of time before we take off I don't think I've seen a team down the lane were in said damn there amazing.

Plus we still have players coming back in Ronan Murray Rob Milsom Kyle De Silva Taylor Mclenzie IZALE is hopefully nearly 100% Hewitt is getting better by the minute

Thoughts views opinions welcome

Consistent teams win promotion. We aren't at that point yet. On paper we have one of the strongest squads but there are better teams than us in the league because they know how to win at this level. It might take 2 seasons to get out of L2.

Disagree no one is consistent or Amazin from wise Pompey good away from home not been great at home I think we will pick up now.

We have great home form and if can pick up wins away we will be right up there can't see Mansfield or Accringhton stay in in play offs at end of season or near it

Plymouth have taken points in 11 out of their 14 games. That's 79%. Notts have taken points in 8 out of 14 games. That's 57%. A difference of 22% which amounts to 11 points. If Notts want to push for promotion then we have to be in and around the 70-75% range.

You have to be consistent to be top of the league :-) We aren't consistent so we aren't top of the league.

P.S. Portsmouth and Oxford have taken points in 13 of their 14 games but have more draws than Plymouth. That's an incredible 93% which isn't sustainable so they will drop back at some point.

they may have taken points but why aren't we the ability is there for taking points I mean when Plymouth played us we made them look a average at best yea they scored two goals first one could of been avoided.

2nd one by movin our best player to centre back I just think if we can take our chances more we would give someone a thrashing.

I haven't seen any team in this league that I can say hey there going to run off with it this year if we can fix this away form with a win at Exeter confidence will be sky high.

I believe we are 5-6 points off the play offs still not many teams keep the kind of form up that you have mentioned as I Rember last year Pompey had a flyer then all of a sudden dropped like a stone.

Just hope we can be that team others hate to face

There are teams in this league worth their position.

Strong squads make quality sides and we have both depth in numbers and quality, yet we don't have much consistency. We can't go from being crap (not my words) to world beaters for winning and drawing a game. We need to test our metal and improve.

All we need is a run from home if we win or even draw on Saturday it's 2clean good results from home we have the home form.

Soon as we pick a few points away we will get the consistency hopefully the team stays the same cause we look like we are geling at last

We're very much a work in progress. I think its fair to say the Stevenage & huddersfield games sent a lot of people's expectations through the roof, but with so many new players (thats a whole different discussion...) it was always going to take time. With the squad we have there's no reason whatsoever why we cant be pushing for automatic promotion. I'm stil convinced that as soon as we can get back-to-back wins we'll go on a charge up that table.

Plymouth can enjoy being top now. It matters not one jot whos top in October. The only time it matters is in May
