iPhone charging

anyone here who has a iPhone I didn't realise the amount of dust these things gather so today a decided to clean it .

As the charging port is so tiny I could only use a toothpick or a toothbrush the brissels.

So anyone I used my toothbrush madly enough anyways as I'm cleaning the jack for the headphone bit I cleaned it all out etc I then did the port as I cleaned the port a mini dust ball came out .

I've only had my iPhone 6 for probaly 4-5 months maybe less but it's mad I realised If to much dust gets in the port it can stop the connection when the phones on charge .

Just a heads up if you're not aware

is there not a way around this? have you looked on youtube for advice?

sounds bad that dust can cause this sort of damage.

yea that was the way you have to use a tooth pick or a brush and get in the port gently and brush around cleaning the dust out that's what fixed it.

I think the dust stops the connection

If it's not died onto it, a nice pump should do the trick.

Not the biggest iPhone fan though tbh.
