Should be a very interesting match tonight, Bayern Munich v Borrussia Dortmund. Surely Bayern won't bottle it in the final again?

For me these two have been the best two sides all the way through the tournament and deserve to be in the final. Could see this going all the way, although if it goes to penalties we could be here all night with both sides being German!

Anyone else watching tonight?

I'm just settling down to watch.I've got a bottle of beer by my side and am all ready for the kick off.

I think I'm hoping for too much if I say it could be as good as the 1960 final between Eintracht and Real Madrid  (now that WAS a match) but I can live in hope. :cheer:

Hope You enjoy, James :super::sheep:

I've just got in, so if I hadn't came straight on here. I would most likely have missed the match!

No comment with regards to winners, it's likely I'll be wrong and I thought both sides was overrated. I don't think this is the case now, yet I don't believe either will remain strong contenders. I'll probably eat these words, though I just don't see their league standing up to others.

0-0 at half time then, Dortmund started brightly but Bayern beggining to strut their stuff towards the end of the half. The two keepers are on top at the moment, kept the game goalless.

Think this is better than what an El Classico final would have been. That would have involved players falling over everytime an opponent got to within 5 yards of them and a lot of play acting lol

Some very good saves, plus top keepers but the games lacked for me. Dort are playing as a unit, good team work and visionary play but Bayern are just running at them, counter attacking and spreading passes. Both, have had chances and the reds have just score.

I want it to settle down! :P

Is there only me who isn't interested in European football? Especially when no English team is involved. I've not bothered watching it at all. :ohdear:

I watched and was a little disappointed. I can't put my finger on what was wrong with it .I wish the commentators would stop making out that all foreign players are better than us Brits though. There were some good saves and a few lucky ones.I just feel it was all a bit of an anticlimax.

Have to say I've got very little interest in European football even when it involves English teams. I rarely watch it until the final.

Bayern deserved to win, they were the better side on the night. They've had an extrodinary season. What a game too, end to end action. It sounds odd but both teams wanted to win from the kick off. How often do we see finals where both sides are so afraid of losing that they're reluctant to try anything?

I watch the midweek football in the kitchen while my wife watches the soaps. I prefer it if a British team is involved but quite often lose interest .  .I've already said this,  but it really annoys me the way the pundits/commentators go on about overseas player technique. To me ,all players do something outstanding at times and other times make a complete hash of things. :angel:
