How good has Jon Stead been this season?

Jon Stead has certainly made a good start to the season hasn't he!

Well, how many goals can he score for us this season?

I found an article that sings his praises, worth a read if you have a second!

I thought Jon struggled to settle down last season, yet his hard work and persistent meant he still got the goals. Certainly he was one of our better players, yet I didn't feel he came with the form he had at Bradford (sometimes this takes time).

This season he looks on top of his game and has really dug deep in terms of performances. I would also say that to a degree he's carrying us, as when he's in form the whole squad plays better and on an off day for him we struggle. This said if we can continue to bring out the fire in Stead's play, I think he will finish this divisions highest goal scorer. I can easily see him scoring over 20, I just hope my concerns of injury is avoided.
