Collin 6 – good reactions to save on the line, better distribution.
Audel 6 – competes well and offers something going forwards.
Duffy 6 – solid, no nonsense defending.
Laing 7* - much better against a less physical strikeforce. Started attacks with some good forward runs.
Milsom 6 – steady and reliable.
Rodman 4.5 – offers nothing at all in a creative sense, we were much better without him.
Richards 6 – nothing fancy, but doesn’t waste the ball much.
Tootle 6 – good recovery from his nightmare on Tuesday, needs to think a bit quicker.
Forte 6 – a bit mixed but stuck at it and managed a goal.
Campbell 5 – can’t fault his effort or willingness to be involved, but he has this uncanny knack of missing the rectangle between pitch, posts and crossbar.
Stead 6 – did his best with minimal service.

Collins 7 – still raw and may take the wrong option sometimes, but a serious attacking threat. Deserves a starting place.
Snijders 7 – gave us width, pace and trickery. Has to be a better option than Rodman.

A sterile game for 75 minutes, an exciting game for the last bit. Hopefully today has shown Sheridan that we do have a few creative attacking options, not sure if we can use them all in away games where we’re doing ok, but for home games they are a must.

NET tram nil points for broken down tram

but here are my ratings

Collin 5 – Yes better distribution, but should have done better, Crewe ball had crossed the line by 2 feet before he clawed it back. Should have covered Duffy but failed to move to collect
Audel 5.5 – Offers something going forwards but still defensively suspect.
Duffy 5 –  yes solid but slow
Laing 6.5 - MOM, pity he couldnt have scored that header at the end...much improved
Milsom 6 – Better than Dickinson. Better distribution and solid in defence
Rodman 3  – Watched closely his first half performance, never gets close to closing down his man, no real effort in creativity, should have been subbed off earlier
Richards 5 – Tired badly second half, much better first...a Premier League scout was here just to watch him

Tootle 5.5 – better Bishop style covering and tackling. Less in any creative sense
Forte 6 – A goal, maybe wondered he was going to last.
Campbell 4.5 – All the effort in the world, yet again final ball or shot atrocious.
Stead 5.56 – Very limited service, needed more support.

Collins 6.5  – Yes a  serious attacking threat. Deserves a starting place, as Elite says
Snijders 6 –  width, pace and trickery. Definitely a better option than Rodman....then most midfielders are

Still needed Stanley for creativity and dead balls. Defence looked more solid

Collin 6 deserves credit for doing enough to dissuade the ref from allowing the goal. Feel he needs to communicate more with the defence.

Audel 7 has the confidence to go forward, though sometimes caught out. Overall a good performance.

Duffy 6 went about his work.

Laing 7* MOM asked questions of the Crewe midfield and played some effective football.

Milsom 6 should start ahead of Dickinson

Campbell 6 keeps on going and made the pass for Forte to score but as an attacking midfielder needs to be trying to score himself rather than just harrying the opposition.

Rodman 4 poor performance, deserved to be subbed.

Tootle 6.5 improved but at times not quick enough playing the ball.

Richards 6 did enough to hopefully retain his place, plays positively.

Forte 6* got the goal but a mixed performance.

Stead 6 tried hard but looked isolated.

Collins 7 Notts improved when he came on. His pace worries the opposition and it lifted the team. Creates chances and ought to start the next match.

Snijders 7 see above.

Hewitt 5 not on long enough to score higher.

Collin 6 Not sure how he managed to save that one on the line.

Audel 5 He offers a lot going forward but his positional sense is at times shocking. He can be easily skinned without too much skill.

Duffy 5.5 OK, doesn't win much in the air.

Laing 7 Plays well against less physically imposing sides, his runs into midfield are an asset.

Milsom 6 Solid defensively and good crosses.

Campbell 4 Little to no impact on the game. Unable to test the keeper, easily marked.

Rodman 2 Sideways and backward passing, didn't deliver any decent balls, never beat his man. Not sure what he gives to the side when he plays like that.

Tootle 5 Solid-ish, lots of sideways ball movement, doesn't create space for himself.

Richards 5.5 Able to create space for himself, sometimes drifts out of position. More positive than Tootle.

Forte 5.5 Scored, but the amount of times he lost the ball prior to scoring was telling.
Stead 5.5 Feel sorry for him at times living on the hoof from the back.

Collins 7 Should've started ahead of Campbell, worries defenders and could have had a goal.

Snijders 6 Obviously a lot better than Rodman, tries to beat his man, crossing mixed.

Hewitt N/A Didn't notice him.
