  1. Just been watching the various interviews with the new owners - welcome to Notts County thank-you for investing in the club- and with Neal Ardley, Good luck to them all, COYP as @Who r ya?? You Pies!! says thankfully this nightmare is over, ALL NOTTS AREN'T WE!
  2. thanks @kingofmilwaukee and good luck to Green Bay Packers in the new season.
  3. As @DangerousSausage says its a good vote of confidence in Notts. I liked his post-match interview with Charlie Slater after the MK Dons game.
  4. I will be there to see Notts get the points their performance deserves.
  5. ..and BT's coverage also free on Virgin Media TV if you've got it. Come on Juventus
  6. If I was being cynical i would say Notts (or AH) didn't vote the changes through for the chance of the win bonus, but because they didn't want to upset the applecart and reduce their chances of getting PL players on loan. A few grand win bonus is a drop in the ocean for clubs that pay their players tens, and hundreds of thousands of pounds a week. I think Notts and the EFL are giving the PL teams 'reserves' 'B teams' 'Academies' match time on the cheap.
  7. I wouldn't watch any stage of the competition in its current format.
  8. I won't be watching Notts play in this competition. I think it is the thin end of the wedge as regards B teams in theFootball League.
  9. Saturday's Fixtures (17:30 kick offs) Colchester United 1 v 2 Yeovil Town Exeter City 1 v 0 Carlisle United Grimsby Town 2 v 1 Plymouth Argyle Hartlepool United 3 v 0 Doncaster Rovers joker Portsmouth 4 v 0 Cheltenham Town Wycombe Wanderers 2 v 3 Cambridge United Sunday's Fixtures (12:00 Kick Offs) Aston Villa 0 v 1 Brighton & Hove Albion Brentford 0 v 1 Blackburn Rovers Bristol City 1 v 1 Birmingham City Newcastle United 5 v 2 Barnsley Nottingham Forest 2 v 0 Ipswich Town Sheffield Wednesday 2 v 1 Fulham joker
  10. I've voted for Carl Dickinson, I thought he played well and the defence and the team did well keeping a clean sheet.
  11. I think Nolan will have made sure the players are motivated for this COYP!
  12. Blackburn Rovers 0 v 2 Aston Villa Fulham 1 v 1 Brentford Queens Park Rangers 1 v 0 Nottingham Forest Carlisle United 0 v 1 Newport County Cheltenham Town 0 v 0 Hartlepool United Doncaster Rovers 2 v 2 Exeter City joker

  14. Heading to the lane soon, looking forward to an entertaining game. I expect the starting 11 and any subs to be fired up for this. Come on You Pies!
  15. I can accept a price freeze - I wouldn't call it a discount - but I think it's a bit of a PR fail in that there was an opportunity to say 'thanks' for sticking with Notts (buying a 16-17 season ticket) even after the disastrous 2015-16 campaign. I think the renewal price freeze should have been reward for the renewal itself, not having to buy early as well. I can understand AH wanting to get cash flow into the club but it rankles a bit that I have to renew before the end of April, I would have made it the end of May alongside the 'early bird' offer.
  16. 6.5 up against Akinfenwa that sounds like a good days work from Hollis @Piethagoram , seems like Nolan's faith in him is being justified.
  17. welcome aboard @ELL100T
