  1. Up to 5th with Morecambe still playing...looking forward to Saturday's game. #supernotts
  2. Well played Notts, sounded like a good performance on the radio. While listening to the match found this Zambian football link https://zambianfootball.wordpress.com/2014/05/17/how-the-worlds-most-expensive-player-became-zambian-national-team-captain/
  3. Time to head to the Lane..Come on you Pies! #SuperNotts A previous match against the Orient..big shoes to fill for Loach or Collin...
  4. Listening on the radio it was frustrating to hear Notts had started slowly, and again conceded early. It seemed to take the goal for Notts to play more purposefully. Like @notts-joe I didn't expect Notts to make the comeback as besides Stead who was going to find the net...well played Louis Lang! CoYP.
  5. It is the the thin end of the wedge.
  6. Hopefully he is playing for Notts next season!
  7. OK if Smith up front to make trouble and hold the ball, as long as Gibson alongside. Come on You Pies!
  8. It was a straight red all day. How many chances has Noble had? Yes it was a nothing game really, apart from trying to restore some confidence into the team, but what if we had been staring the Conference in the face and he had done the same thing? He's a liability.
  9. I hope each Notts player when they put on the black and white stripes psyches themselves up and believes come on Notts, we can win this! COYP! #supernotts
  10. To echo Uncle Colin , thank you for being honest Mark Cooper.
  11. After Saturday it seems that things are going to get worse before they get better. Have the Notts players given up the ghost?
  12. Heading for the train, looking forward to the match. Come on you PIES! #supernotts
  13. In some ways think the game could be won or lost in the first ten minutes. Aborah and Noble will be so important tomorrow, if they can play to their strengths then they will influence the rest of the team.
  14. Great atmosphere at the Lane, I hope it came across on the radio and it gets more going for the next home game. If you want to know what Notts' performance was like listen to Mark Cooper's post match interview, he tells it like it is.
  15. Hartlepool I imagine will play more positive football than Stevenage, should be a good game, Notts need to be confident and keep the good work going. COYP!
  16. Yep a cooly taken goal by Noble, well placed. Also Stead's volley described as a worldy on Channel 5. Great atmosphere today I thought COYP.
  17. I predict good times ahead, Come on You Pies! #SuperNotts
  18. The game had everything except goals, it was good to watch. Even if a Notts player made a mistake they always looked to make up for it and recover the ball, or go again. Notts had their chances (as did Wycombe) and the team spirit was there to see. COYP.
  19. I'm concerned today's result might put a few off going Monday, but I hope not. I think now MC has had the chance to view Notts from the dugout we might see some interesting selections in the team Monday.
  20. Hewitts performance's seem to get worse. Hollis has had any number of chances but never looks confident and I don't think Notts will improve while he is in the back four. Smith can do a job for 45 minutes but no more. Despite the goal against Exeter McLeod seems to be a passenger, I'm not sure I'd bother picking him Monday. Replacements.. Amevor. I haven't seem him play enough to judge, but don't think he could be worse than the current defenders. Wildin. I'll go with @Piethagoram 's Judgement. I think MC needs to break the glass on the button marked emergency and recall Steady Eddie. Murray to play alongside Stead, I don't think Murray has had a full match this season to prove his worth? I would start Valencic and/or Snijders. Loach Wildin Amevor/Audel Eddie Milsom Valencic Aborah Noble Snijders Murray Stead
  21. The team were good enough to beat Portsmouth at home, but listening to the match on the radio, and home games I have seen, the impression I get is that either through 'switching off' (which is bad) at set pieces, or a lack of effort (which is worse) to try and get into the game, individuals playing for Notts go missing. Too often Notts effectively only have 8 or 9 on the pitch.
  22. Notts Vs Portsmouth was probably the game of the season so far for me at the Lane. I think Notts are more likely now to get a something from this game, but the main is a fresh start for the team and the fans.
  23. Taking Banton off for Campbell was a strange substitution. A strange decision was awarding Thompson Man of the Match..Hewitt seemed to do more. Agreed @notts-joe Notts didn't look like a 'team' in the second half.
  24. Heading to the Lane now, I agree @notts-joe with what you want to see from Notts, Come on You PIES!...
  25. @Joe JonesIf I didn't have a season ticket then I wouldn't be going Saturday. To pay on the day Saturday would just be throwing good money away. If Notts - seemingly under the instruction of the manager - continue to play defensive, negative football then I won't be shelling out for a season ticket in the summer.
