  1. The best shot on goal Saturday was by Burke at half time!
  2. Yep keep him in the zone up front and also he seems in the zone recently, playing well!
  3. Its frustrating watching McLeod sometimes as he always seems to be looking for the foul.
  4. If that translates as we will be more attacking at home then great!
  5. Plenty of teams still in the mix, its very open especially with teams having a few games in hand. Pre-match against Wimbledon being interviewed by Colin Slater, JF downplayed talk of trying for promotion - just progressing each match as a team- but I think he will be looking at the table thinking there is still an opportunity for this Notts team. It has been 2 steps forward and one back so far. Hopefully another step forward this saturday!
  6. I'm feeling negative about this match. Even though Notts beat Crawley, I think similar tactics against Luton will lead to defeat. 3-1.
  7. The experienced former Belgium international Swerts and the attacking pacey Snijders were playing 'left back' in the stands, there role today was to meet and greet in the hospitality suite. Today seemed like a replay of the Mansfield game, watching Notts being bullied and out fought. Early on it was clear Wimbledon were going to use elbows, wrestle and knock aside Notts players to win headers. The ref could have given any number of fouls, but didn't. So maybe Notts should then have done the same rather than always seeming to be second to the loose ball or to a header. Milsom and Thompson tried but they were fighting a losing battle. Why no Valencic in the starting 11? The guy will have been full of confidence because of last week, and yet Adams gets the nod! Usually I stay to the final whistle but today I bailed out before it even got to 90 minutes. Fingers crossed it can only get better! Can't it?
  8. The win last week was unexpected, with the upheaval and first team changes. With another week gone by for Fullarton to work with the squad I reckon that Notts will definitely have made proper preparation, and that should prevent a poor performance but not sure what the score will be...A home win please COYP. By the way really Wimbledon ought to be my second team, a Great Uncle and his family who I knew quite well back in the 70's, live near their ground and support them.
  9. Well written it sums it all up well
  10. There are some good things being published on the home page by various contributors, I'm enjoying reading them.
  11. So one of our better signings of the summer says he cannot speak highly enough of the manager. So is Campbell's improved form because of or in spite of Moniz's management? Adam Campbell shows a never give up attitude when he plays, its good to watch a player who always gives 100% and I hope he continues creating chances and hopefully scoring some goals!
  12. Hi Notts Joe could you send me an idiots guide to putting a photo next to my user name, for example Joe Jones has a wolf, thank-you!

  13. Edwards' second goal would have been good for a striker!
  14. Interesting points
