Politics

Why is politics almost like the representation of a school's play ground?

Once upon a time this was serious business, yet these days it's all very petty. Personally I think if they cut the crap, focus may be allowed to help with the real concerns our nation faces. Even overseas it's a circus, I really don't care what Donald Trump says or does - his habits on Twitter aren't even newsworthy. Yet this is considered today's politics? A world leader keen to spout nonsense via Twitter and a female Prime Minister who cares more about how she is seen on cameras.

I'm probably the last person who speaks about politics but I miss the days of boring John Major.
