Been a pretty entertaining night in front of Soccer Special. There's been some very interesting ties and a few standout results:

Monday Night
Preston North End 1-0 Blackpool

Tuesday Night
Barnsley 0-0 Scunthorpe AET (Barnsley won 5-4 on penalties)
Birmingham City 3-2 Plymouth Argyle AET
AFC Bournemouth 1-0 Portsmouth

Brentford 3-2 Dagenham & Redbridge
Brighton 1-3 Newport County AET
Bristol Rovers 1-3 Watford
Bury 3-2 Crewe Alexandra
Charlton Athletic 4-0 Oxford United
Cheltenham Town 4-3 Crawley Town AET (Cheltenham had trailed 3-1 with 15 minutes left!)
Colchester United 1-5 Peterborough United
Doncaster Rovers 1-0 Rochdale
Exeter City 0-2 QPR
Gillingham 0-2 Bristol City
Huddersfield Town 2-1 Bradford City
Leyton Orient 3-2 Coventry City
Middlesbrough 1-2 Accrington Stanley
Millwall 2-1 AFC Wimbledon
Morecambe 1-0 Wolves
Northampton Town 1-2 Milton Keynes
That lot 3-1 Hartlepool
Oldham 0-1 Derby County
Port Vale 1-2 Walsall
Rotherham Utd 2-1 Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield United 1-2 Burton Albion
Shrewsbury Town 1-3 Bolton Wanderers
Southend Utd 0-1 Yeovil Town
Stevenage 2-0 Ipswich Town
Swindon Town 1-0 Torquay
Tranmere 2-0 Mansfield
Wycombe 1-2 Leicester City
York City 0-4 Burnley

Obviously a lot of teams will field very different sides in this competition but still some surprises - particularly Newport's win at Brighton and Accy Stanley's win at Boro.

IF Notts get through we've got a good chance of a big tie, with most premiership sides coming into the competition and we could also play that lot, The Rams or Leicester. But let's just get through our tie first lol!

I would love to get Derby!

It would be perfect to get them, mind you it wouldn't be so bad to get a team like Shrewsbury or Walsall but that's just me. :D

I see one of the surprises was Brighton losing- Guess where the Rams are away to next Saturday?

The U.K's version of Bangkok?

I *cringed* then, I hope nobody else did.. I suppose your going to say you will be playing Brighton, I wonder if they still wear pink for their away shirt.

I watched Morecambr beat Wolves 1-0. Wolves squandered several good chances and hit the woodwork at least 3 times and somehow I just knew Morecambe were going to sneak it, they actually played really well and of course their fans were ecstatic at the end.

2 other results from tonight:
Carlisle United 3-3 Blackburn Rovers - Carlisle United won 4-3 on penalties (Judgey put Blackburn ahead in ET)
Leeds United 2-1 Chesterfield

I believe the draw for round 2 it at either 12:30 or 1:30 tommorow afternoon, live on Sky Sports. I know it's not regionalised but it is seeded, and to be honest I've not got a clue how all that works but from what people have said, we could get Derby, F*rest, Leicester, or a premiership side as most of them come in at this stage. Should be interesting

Either of those two would be good, a premiership tie at Meadow Lane would be brilliant for the club. If I had my selfish head on I'd like a game at Southampton or Bournemouth or Yeovil, but that wouldn't be great at all for the rest of our fans lol

I hope we get a home draw and a big gate.
