Bank Holiday chaos

Recommended Posts

When will this country learn? Just saw a report from Skeg yesterday that people were in traffic for four, yes four, hours to get parked up for a two hour session on the beach.

I know it’s the only chance some people get, I genuinely do get that, but at times like these planning committees need to take a long old look at themselves and think ‘can we cope with the crowds’

Well being retired I avoid being on the road at bank holidays like the plague, we spent a very pleasant day in our garden relaxing and having a delicious bbq.

However I do feel for you working folk who’s only chance to get away is bank holidays, I’ve been there and done that.

I hate Skeg when it's overloaded, especially when the visitors don't understand the locals view point regarding the hell they cause. A lot of day trippers tend to be quite mindless (as we see in shopping centres on a daily basis).
