Goal Line Tech coming to the Lane...

Honestly, I can't believe that it's still not a normal thing for professional football. Obviously its good news (provided the technology doesn't assist Coventry ) - but it should be standard practice by now. It's good enough to rule a playoff leg, it should be there for a league game.

I agree it should be standard for every game, it really does work well and doesn’t interrupt the flow of the game, there was a game I watched on telly at the weekend (can’t remember which one) the ball was literally millimetres over the line it would have been almost impossible for the linesman to call it without guessing and I would think he would err on the side of caution and not give it. The referee merely looked at his watch and pointed to the centre spot, no fuss, no argument, goal.
