1-1 at half-time.

Scotland's goal was a howler from Hart. (This seems to be a reoccuring theme of late)

England's a well taken chance from Walcott.

Also Rooney had a goal disallowed for 'offside', he was miles on.

Rooney and Gerrard seem to be linking well, although Rooney's touch is similar to Delroy Facey's at the moment.

Wilshire doing really well, as is Baines.

Welbeck is a waste of space, he is struggling even completing simple passes.

I fell alseep, pretty annoyed by that but oh well.

Sounds like Scotland gave a good account of themselves which is good, it's disappointing we didn't prevent them because I think they're a very poor team. Very much average at best, where as we're a little better than average despite struggling at times.

Nice to Walcott, Welbeck and Lambert on the score sheet.

Didn't watch the match, went to watch Weymouth Reserves instead. On paper Scotland shouldnt be able to touch us but they were always going to give it a good go and make it close. Sounds like it was a decent match. Good to see Ricky Lambert get the winner, he really is living every footballer's dream. He worked his way up through the football league and he's now an established premiership player who scored the winning goal for England at Wembley on his debut. He must be loving it, and why not? Fair  play to him!

Great result for Northern Ireland too, a 1-0 win at home to Russia. Serves Fabio Capello right for the lack of respect he showed Northern Ireland. When asked about a few injuries to Russia's key players he said he wasent going to call any replacements up as "it's only Northern Ireland".

I came back from a drink with a good friend and caught the second half, it certainly looked like a good match played at a fast tempo. Great to see Ricky Lambert score a goal on his debut with his first touch as @weymouthPIE says he is certainly living the dream.

I thought the match was like a cup game,England being the home side playing a team from a division below them.Scotland always raise their game against England but they are not a very good side.Hart should have saved the first goal and the Rooney 'goal' should not have been ruled out(the assistant refs made a few mistakes)So if I take their first goal away and add Rooney's the score becomes England 4 - Scotland 1 which is about right,I think.

Ricky Lambert certainly is living the dream-great header.
