Wow, been out all day, I’m gobsmacked to see all these birthday wishes thank you everyone.

Had a great day took the new car out for a spin into Derbyshire, little walk round Matlock, lunch in Bakewell, on to Lady Bower Dam to see where the Lancaster bombers practiced for the Dam Busters raid, then back home for fish and chips in wetherspoons and a pint of Double Maxim, perfect day.

It sounds like a smashing day @Fan of Big Tone, I've had walks around those areas back in the day and the scenery is nice.

Yeah, really enjoyed it as it’s been a while since we’ve been to Lady Bower, we used to go before we were married, we’d go in my old Morris 1,000 and take a picnic, no eating out in those days, couldn’t afford it. The old Morris really struggled up the hills, I had to take a run at them :biggrin:
