Which nation to feature in the World Cup should have won it, but haven't so far?

Recommended Posts

I'm surprised that an African team hasn't gone all the way, especially nations such as Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and of course Egypt (who have had good teams in the past).

You know, I honestly felt that Holland had won the World Cup.

Yet they lost to Argentina when they should have won it in the 80's, I recall seeing a documentary about how one of the Dutch players had their arm in a cast and Argentina players became all pathetic over it.

Agree with @Northants Pie about Netherlands. Had three finals and lost all three.

Maybe Mexico?

Hungary probably should have in the early 50's when their team was ridiculously good

what your kdding me holland have never won it? wow.

i know the hungary squad that destroyed england deserved to win it. i would say that japan are getting closer and im surprised an asian nation has not done it yet especially with all the money they are pumping into it.
