Have A Good Holiday Joe And Family

I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Joe and his family a lovely holiday, I hope you have a great break and the weather holds for you.

After all the hard work on this site you deserve to have a rest and recharge your batteries. I hope Super Ram finds a few real ale pubs to sample, I can see him and GrannyPie now in their "kiss me quick" hats. :joker:

Have a good one folks and if you can keep in touch let us know what you are up to.

The only hat(s) @super_ram wears are those one's you can attach beer/drinks too. ;)

Thanks Tony!

Thanks for your kind thoughts,Tony and Liam.

Ignore Joe's comment,though it's something I'd not thought of.(it could be handy)

I'll probably have to put up with some inferior brews. We generally(well me and Granny) give as many pubs as possible a try, just to see if the pub has changed at all.If we don't like it we don't go again. Some of the pubs we go in because there are things to occupy the grandkids.and I make the most of whichever beer is on offer.

The weather forecast looks reasonable ,so I hope we can all get on the beach a bit and play with the kids.Superpie has already said he is going to get Harry and Ellie to help him bury me and Joe in the sand.

We will both try and keep in touch on here. :excited:

  • 2 weeks later...

That was the fastest 2 weeks of the year.We went in summer and came back to autumn.Only one bad day and that didn't spoil things though it was quite cold and very wet(the 2nd Tuesday)

It,s funny how the feeling of a place changes because of the weather. The 1st week everyone was in summer gear(beer bellies and varicose veins) and sitting outside of pubs with kids running around, everywhere alive. When it rained on the 2nd Monday and Tuesday, everyone was all wrapped up and few people walking around,.everywhere seemed deserted and miserable.

thanks tony

we had a lot of fun! the kids enjoyed it...we nearly had tears off Harry saturday morning.

glad to be home and get back to normality though.....kiddo back at nursery :-) so gives me and hubby chance to catch up on our fave tv shows etc.

and Super Ram sampled plenty of ale.....a recall being told a few times he was tipsy when he got back to the caravan!!!!

Super did enjoy the pubs(though he had a moan  about the quality of beer a couple of times) but he was still walking in a straight line,so he wasn't too merry.

He wasn't too merry, but i bet your glad he wasn't pushing you back down the hill tipsy.

One morning on holiday,Jake(super-pie),came to me complaining that he couldn't eat the cereals that he had helped himself to.I asked him why not and he replied-'The milk is out of order' I  was baffled for a few seconds until I realised the milk had gone off and though the milk WAS still in date Jake was trying ,in his way to say, that the milk had gone sour. :turned:

I love some of the things kids come out with, George comes out with some brilliant things and I think I must write that down but then I forget.
