Daily chat thread - Friday 12th October

Good morning it’s a cloudy windy start to the day, rain is forecast later so we picked the right time to come back from our camping trip.

We’ve got shopping to do this morning so we’ll be popping along to Lidl shortly, this afternoon the central heating man is coming to service our boiler, yesterday the burglar alarm man came that cost over £100, I seem to be forking money out right left and centre at the minute.

Our washer is on the blink, we think a wire from Mrs. Big Tones bra has got caught between the drum and the casing, so unless I can get it out that’ll be another expense for a man to come. Whilst camping with friends we were discussing Motorhome tyres, apparently they should be changed at least every ten years irrespective of the amount of tread, I reckon ours are around 10 years old so that’ll be more expense, at this rate I’ll have to come out of retirement and get a job!

Just been out for dinner to the Fox and Crown which is a local pub near me. Off to play football tonight but meanwhile I am just going to chill and look forward to a weekend in I think

I have been painting my living room all morning... finally the walls are all done. I have the weekend to do the ceiling now, which i hate doing but it has to be done.

I've got to tidy up now and put alot of the stuff back i've had to move out the room.

Time to look after my kids and do a general clean up before the boys go out.

@cheeky~k8 has done a fantastic job, the improvements I was a little unsure about at first but I can see with a few more things on the wall - it will look lovely.

I spent most of yesterday helping out.

Today I have knuckled down and done my PON tasks, finishing off the PONcast. Shortly I will be off to play football with @super_pie and @samwatto2008. BRING IT ON!!

I’ve had a look at the washing machine, someone advised me to look underneath at the drain pipe as the offending bra wire might be caught in there, I dropped the machine on it’s back (my god it’s heavy) and undid the pipe although the wire wasn’t there I was able to turn the drum slowly whilst putting my fingers in the hole where the pipe had been fixed, eventually the wire came round to where I was able to grab it and tease it out of the hole.

I was elated because I thought I was going to have to call an engineer and pay god knows how much.

A semi decent day to be fair found some new healthy recipes as I want to eat a bit more healthy... inspired by @Chris and a little chat we had. Saw my cousin j and Uncle tony shocked to how big he has got now nearly 15 bloody Nora bless him. But of Pon posting .. and some classic tv

I think I over did football, my muscles keep giving me grief and my calf keeps sticking out (like a small marble is under my skin). I have to say, I thought my playing days was over but I have enjoyed pushing myself. Some days I wouldn't be able to kick a ball and Friday's usually rely on me taking rests to build up for the hour of football - so it's not a case of going and playing.

Think I gave a good account of my ability, just a shame I don't have the energy to go up and down but I love playing.

Seeing @super_pie save shots from grown adults and playing equal, if not better than them in goal - it makes me feel very proud.
